Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Amenities. Really nothing more than a hotel room, but smaller and miles down washboard dirt roads to get there. The trails mentioned are in public parks miles away…

Thank you for your feedback—we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Our property is designed as a cozy, private space rather than a full-scale resort, and we aim to clearly reflect that in our listing so guests know what to expect.
Regarding the location, we do note that the home is situated on a rural dirt road, which many guests enjoy for the peaceful and secluded desert setting, though we understand it may not be for everyone.
As for the nearby trails, they are indeed part of the surrounding public parks and natural areas, which is common for homes in this region. We include them to highlight the outdoor opportunities available within a short drive.
We truly value your input and will continue looking for ways to better communicate these details so future guests can choose a stay that best fits what they’re looking for.
Nice, quiet clean place. I was there for bike week and should have read the listing better, thought it was closer and didn't see that it's down a dirt road. We were on motorcycles. But hey, that's on me! I would recommend anyways.
Great stay. Listing didn’t mention property is a mile down a dirt road.

Thank you for your feedback—I’m really glad you had a great stay overall!
I did want to clarify for future guests that the listing notes the casita is about a mile off a paved road, which means access is via a dirt road and part of the secluded desert experience. Many guests enjoy the quiet and privacy that comes with that setting, though I understand it may not be for everyone.
I appreciate you staying with us and hope to host you again in the future!
Adriana is a wonderful host. We had some issues with Verbo but Adriana was able to clarify these issues quickly. The location is beautiful and very rural. Horse and cattle farms near by with beautiful views surrounding you.
Let's start with the host Adriana, she was incredible. If you are up for amazing sunrises and sunsets this is the place. The location was awesome as you get to disconnect from the noise and connect with nature.
The Casita was equipped with everything we needed and more. I love the fact that it was super cleaned and tidy...
Thank you Adriana for everything!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! It truly means a lot. I’m so happy you enjoyed the peaceful setting, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and had a chance to disconnect and take in the nature around you.
I’m also glad the casita had everything you needed and that it felt clean and comfortable—that’s always a top priority.
It was an absolute pleasure hosting you, and thank you again for your kind words. You’re always welcome back anytime!
Beautiful location with a great view. Casita was clean. A bottle of wine would have made it perfect
Our stay was great. Enjoyed the remote feeling while still seeing castle and horses. Very friendly neighbors. Would have loved a small fenced area for our dog. More hangers and unused soap would have been great. Would definitely come back.

Thank you so much for your kind review! I’m really glad you enjoyed the beautiful views, peaceful setting, and your time at the casita—it sounds like you truly got to experience the charm of the area.
I appreciate your thoughtful suggestions as well—they’re very helpful and I’ll definitely take them into consideration as I continue improving the space.
And next time, the bottle of wine is on me—it’ll be waiting for you whenever you come back! 🍷😊
We’d love to host you again anytime!
Adriana's place was clean and met our needs. I would suggest asking her the distance between her vrbo and the places of interest you plan to frequent.
We did have a communication glitch but it could have been an IT issue with vrbo, Adriana was quick to get us the information we needed.
This is a great spot if you need a place to stay in the far north Scottsdale area. It is very far away from any gas stations, dining, etc. but was perfect for me as I needed to be at a nearby ranch for a certification for the week. The Casita a is clean and super cozy but not at all claustrophobic. I was not able to check in on time because the suite was not ready… But also partially my fault because I told the host that I would not be able to check in until after 5 PM and arrived at 4:30 instead. Overall a great stay!

Thank you so much for your detailed and kind review! I’m really glad the casita worked well for your stay and that you found it clean, cozy, and comfortable. The peaceful, remote setting is definitely a big part of the experience, especially for guests needing to be nearby for something specific like your certification.
I also appreciate your understanding regarding the check-in timing, and I’m sorry again for any inconvenience there—we always aim to have everything perfectly ready upon arrival.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and you’re always welcome back anytime!
Adriana communicated great with us. There was last minute changes and we couldnt check in until 6 pm, but we just kept busy. My only complaint was that there were only 2 towels and wash clothes for our 4 day stay. Didnt want to bother the host so just washed them at a friends house. Other than that nice place for a quick getaway. A little drive outside of town but beautiful 😊

Thank you so much for your kind words and for your patience with the check-in timing—I really appreciate your understanding and flexibility! I’m glad you enjoyed the space and the peaceful, beautiful setting.
I also wanted to share that I’ve adjusted the check-in time to be earlier, as I understand most guests expect check-in to be somewhere between 2–4 PM, and I want to make the arrival experience as smooth as possible.
For future stays, there are additional towels and washcloths available in the drawers inside the walk-in closet, so you should have plenty during your visit. I’m always happy to help as well, so please never hesitate to reach out if anything is needed.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and you’re always welcome back anytime 😊

About the host

Why they chose this property
While the magnitude of the property can provide a sense of solitude, the wonders of nature and the desert are ubiquitous. This is Cowboy Land, so you will often see horses walking around and will be able to un-plug from city.
You will have your own private entrance and parking space.
What makes this property unique
From soaring saguaros standing guard to countless Barrel Cactus and Brittlebush dotting the rolling terrain, this casita offers the desert landscape at its fullest. The branches of Mesquite and Palo Verde trees sometimes serve as landing spots for a Harris's Hawk or Great Horned Owl, among others. The desert floor pulses with life both visible and hidden, with mountain lions, bobcats, gray foxes, coyotes, javelinas, mule and whitetail deer, rattlesnake and lizards among its numerous denizens.
