Relaxing in Roquebrun

We spent an enjoyable week at Roquebrun appreciating the views from the several lovely outside seating areas.We loved the proximity of the pretty village with its amenities and laid back atmosphere. A memorable stay .Thanks to Andre for his friendly and supportive communication.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Altea. It has spectacular views over Roquebrun but is also very private and not overlooked. The house had everything we needed and Andre is a great host - there if needed with help and advice but not at all intrusive.

We had a lovely stay at this Villa. It was perfect for our family of 4. It is very well equipped, with everything we could need. Whilst it isn't modern, this adds charm and is reflected fairly in the price. I was concerned before we arrived with a recent review saying there was no washing machine and the parasols couldn't be used. However the washing machine is in the garage and we had no issues with the parasols, using them daily. Our kids loved the pool and it was a great addition given the high temperatures whilst we were there. Communication with the host was easy and friendly. Roquebrun is lovely, it's picturesque and friendly. We would happily return.

Das Haus ist ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen. Keine Waschmaschine, obwohl angegeben. Das elektronisch gesicherte Tor war plötzlich halbseitig geschlossen, so daß wir nicht mit dem Auto das Gelände verlassen konnten. Trotz Kommunikation hat sich der Vermieter dazu nicht zurückgemeldet. Nach langem Suchen haben wir den Sender der Elektronik gefunden. Ein weiterer Nachteil war die nicht vernünftig zu nutzenden Sonnenschirme, jeder war nicht richtig aufspannbar.Super war allerdings der Pool.

Charmante Villa in idyllischer Umgebung

Wir haben die 3 Wochen Aufenthalt in der Villa Altea sehr genossen. Die Lage auf dem Berg in Roquebrun mit Sicht ins Tal und auf den Ort ist wunderschön, das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alle Utensilien, die man sich nur wünschen kann, es gibt ausreichend Sonnenschirme, ein Holzkohle- und ein Gasgrill stehen zur Verfügung, Waschmaschine und Trockner sind relativ neu und funktionieren gut. Kontaktaufnahme und Unterstützung durch den Vermieter sind problemlos. Einzige -nicht wirklich relevante - Kritikpunkte sind der etwas verwilderte (und vertrocknete Garten, der eine oder andere Ausrüstungsgegenstand (z.B. Sonnenschirm, Tisch im Wintergarten) der repariert oder ausgetauscht werden müsste.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in villa Altea. De bungalow was van alle gemakken voorzien en in de omgeving kun je heerlijk wandelen.

Heerlijke rust en vrijheid.

Villa Altea ligt als laatste woning aan 2 erg steile weggetjes bergop. Hierdoor heb je een schitterend uitzicht op Roquebrun en de bergen. Hier hebben wij iedere minuut van genoten. Prachtig. Wij zijn wat slechter ter been en konden hierdoor niet lopend het dorp in. Wat we jammer vonden. We hadden volledige privacy en het zwembad is heerlijk. Het contact met eigenaar André Verheggen was erg fijn en gemoedelijk. Hij heeft ons leuke tips over de omgeving gegeven, en enthousiaste verhalen verteld.

Lovely villa in beautiful location

We had a lovely half term break visiting family in Roqubrun and staying at the Villa Altea. The villa is situated in beautiful grounds, with a lovely view of the village from the terrace. The pool was great for the kids. Parents enjoyed sitting on the terrace until late each evening. Lovely footpath into the hills from right by the house. Andre was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great times in Haut Languedoc

We had a great time in André's house, who was always approachable and had very good tips for us. The quiet location above the village and the beautiful poolside were the highlights for us.

Un énorme merci à Mr Verrhegen pour ce magnifique séjour passé dans la Jolie petite ville de Roquebrun ! Un propriétaire adorable qui sait se tenir disponible à tout moment , très réactif et qui donne même des suggestions et des conseils pour les visites , les sorties … La maison est idéale et très propre , il y a tout ce qu’il faut ! Tout est bien expliqué ! Le cadre est superbe pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et la sérénité ! La piscine est très sympa , entourée de beaux arbres et de nature avec une très belle vue sur la ville et les montagnes : dépaysement assuré !!! Rien a dire d’autre à part merci encore, nous avons passé une très belle semaine et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir 🙏🏻

Excellent Villa

We enjoyed a very very hot 2 weeks in this very well equipped Villa, the pool was certainly welcome. Wonderful views and VIP seats at the Villa for the fireworks for Bastille day. There are a number of restaurants in Roquebrun to choose from and lots to see in and around the area and excellent wine and tastings from Cave Roquebrun in the village.

Schön, aber Sanierungsstau

Das Haus ist toll geschnitten. Auch der offensichtlich neue Pool macht viel Spaß. Nicht so schön sind die Bäder, die dringend renoviert werden müssten und der Garten, der einen etwas verwilderten Eindruck macht.

Perfect house in Roquebrun

We enjoyed a week in september in this wonderfull house. The house is very good equiped with everything we needed. Even the location is near the city, and with a wonderfull view over Roquebrun, we still could enjoyed the privacy with the mountain as our nearest neighboor. Maison très agréable, bien équipée et vue superbe ! Le village est très mignon et les habitants sont tous très sympa. Nous n'avions pas de voiture et avons pu faire les courses grâce au Vival et au marché. Merci beaucoup André pour vos conseils, votre réactivité et votre souplesse.
