If you are looking for a retreat with family, or a weekend getaway with friends, Belcher House is for you! This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhome, nestled near beautiful Caney Fork River and minutes from Western Carolina University and the charming main streets of Sylva and Dillsboro, NC, is the perfect mountain escape.

Sunny and bright by day, cozy and warm by night, the open concept is great for spending time with your special people. This home features a vaulted great room with a magnificent floor-to-ceiling stone wood burning fireplace, rustic barnwood beams, and heated bathroom floors. Opening up to the great room is the inviting dining room and fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite countertops and all the cookware and dishware you need to prepare a fantastic meal. Just off the great room is the Master Suite featuring a king-size bed and spacious en suite bathroom. The light-filled second bedroom, also with king bed, offers charming antique furnishings and a shared full bathroom with upgrades. The queen-size living room couch pulls out to sleep an additional two persons.

Venture onto the exterior covered porch and enjoy morning coffee or experience a night under the stars grilling or relaxing around the outdoor wood-burning fireplace. And, your furry friends won't be left out at the Belcher House — the fenced in yard is sure to make their vacation memorable!

This mountain getaway is located in Sundrops on Caney Fork, a private gated community. The nano-resort offers pool and hot tub, fitness center, walking trails, and parks for reading or resting. The sparkling Caney Fork River runs along over 2,200 feet of the community, so bring your fly rods and fishing vests!

Belcher House is dedicated to the memory and legacy of David Orr Belcher, 11th Chancellor of Western Carolina University.

We've stayed in this neighborhood before, but this was our first stay at the Belcher House. It is very convenient to WCU. We loved the home. It has all the necessities and is nicely furnished.

Blissful Stay at The Belcher House

From the comfortable bedding to the beautiful well equipped kitchen, I felt completely taken care of while staying at Belcher House. The community is quiet, calm and provides access to trails and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The proximity to WCU and Sylva makes for quick runs to campus or stores for provisions.

Adorable home

Was there for WCU graduation and couldn’t beat the location. House has all the amenities and was super cute. Walked on the paths along the creek. Wish driveway was longer and more restaurants were closer but a gem and truly relaxing.

Wonderful property, close to WCU

This was our 2nd stay at this property, and it continues to be our favorite! The size and location is perfect for our family, and we love the fact that we can also bring our dogs with us. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered porch in the evenings, and taking walks along the river. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful property in a scenic location close to WCU. My family and I enjoyed our stay during our visit to Western. Loved having the fenced yard for our dogs, and was close to walking paths near the river. House was well stocked with essentials. We are already planning a return visit next year. Highly recommend!

Great location

Belcher House was a great stay. Comfortable, private, quiet and clean place to stay. Pet friendly which helped b/c we had to bring our foster dog with us on the trip. The walking path to the creek was great and made me want to walk every morning. There was a steep drive down to the property but we got used to it. We live in SC and not used to the mountain roads.
