Great place to stay in Bayeux, close to cathedral and other sights We used this as a starting point to see the dday Beaches Apartment is small, but cozy and quiet

The apartment was very good on the big things (fantastic location, quiet, adequately stocked with dishes, nicely bohemian if you don't mind a four -story walkup). It was a bit chintzy in some small but easily remediable things, though. There are no toiletries of any kind, not even a bar of soap. Bring your own. To use the TV I had to go out and buy batteries for the remote. There were decorative pillows on the pull-out sofa bed, but no real sleeping pillows. Stuff like that. Nothing fatal, but be forewarned.
