The winery house was our last stop for vacation. And it hit the spot. Home instead of hotels. Very clean, room for everyone. Walking distance from attractions and more.
20 windows and 3 doors to outside! Large kitchen and dining room were great. Upstairs bedrooms were nice. Very roomy and bright. Very accessable to attractions in every direction. Stayed a week and loved it!
The upstairs and winery across the street are super charming! The down stairs feels like a crunchy, crusty after thought. The outdoor space has potential.
Was not able to stay here. Got there at 7pm and called tp owner. He said we didn't have a reservation. He said that has happened a few time, because he uses multiple platforms to rent his property. Though owner quickly talked to VRBO to get the refund process started. So we have to scramble to find a hotel. Definitely not a great experience.
This house is a few blocks away from Main Street, Roswell. The location makes it easy to check out Roswell's unique character, giving easy access to interesting shops and restaurants in downtown.
The downside of being centrally located is the house is close to two major streets, and there is some car/motorcycle noise in the day and early evening, but it was surprisingly quiet after hours, even on weekend nights.
The house is an old one, with quirks that an old house can have, and a few minor things needing repair, but our stay was comfortable.
Guests should know that there are multiple beds in the house, but two of the three beds are in open areas. The single bedroom does have a door, and visual privacy, but it also has an open interior "window" that overlooks the living room below, so it can be hard to block out noise from other guests if that's a concern for you.
The neighborhood is a mix of nicely maintained homes and run-down homes. I never felt unsafe there. The next-door neighbors REALLY want to save your soul based on signage on their property and cars, but are friendly enough in person and they mind their own business.
Google brought us directly to the home. And yes, the neighbors house is hard to miss (as other reviewers have noticed) but we didn’t mind. The home had a spacious kitchen and was very clean as we prepare meals at our VRBOs while traveling. Our son loved the loft bed area and we enjoyed the king size bed and having a half bath accessible upstairs was very handy. I liked that we had loads of space in the bedroom to place our personal items. Great place in Roswell.
Overall this place was cute, well furnished, the beds were comfortable. It did smell like weed smoke when we arrived and it also smelled like the beds were sprayed with Febreeze or Fabuloso (which for those with sensitive noses isn’t pleasant). Also it seemed that locking two of the doors to the exterior with the exception of the front door was impossible. One house next door was boarded up and the one on the other side was religious zealot territory but overall they were nice and nothing dicey happened during our stay. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The heat/air conditioning worked well. The winery across the street was super cute, convenient and the food was good. I wish the 2 bedroom listing had been clear that only one of those “bedrooms” has a door.
Wonderful stay at a nice house in such a great location. We were able to walk to many of the area attractions. The winery and bistro across the street had wonderful food and one of the best red wines I have ever had. The owner of the house also owns the winery and was such a great host. Very responsive. This is a must come back to place for me. Thanks for a relaxing stay.
This was a very unique house with traditional and rustic decor. They went above and beyond by providing essentials. Also, the location was perfect and near tourist attractions.
