Well worth the reservation!
We enjoyed the house very much, as it suited our group perfectly. 2 family's and a few friends were very comfortable. The house was spacious, very well maintained, and the basement was a treat late night while the kids were sleeping. We would certainly rent again, and appreciated all of the amenities. 5 stars!

Fantastic Lake Life Home
The house and amenities exceeded our expectations! The outdoor and indoor amenities (paddle boards, kayaks, corn hole, fire pit, and all the entertainment games in the basement) made each day enjoyable regardless of the weather. There was plenty of room to spread out into different groups to visit, read, sit outside, or watch movies. Lots of comfortable sleeping areas were available. The large dining room table was a fantastic place to gather for meals and to connect with our family and friends! The house and hosts were very welcoming, with many thoughtful and special touches to help you feel comfortable and enjoy your time at the lake.

About the host

Diane and Fred spent most of their adult lives in Wilmington, MA. We have two sons, one in high school and one at FSU. In 2015 we moved down to Florida to enjoy the warmer climate and give the kids an opportunity to know their FL family. We now live in the Sarasota area and own a small business there but have always had the goal of returning to New England for summers and plan to spend more and more of the year up here as we near retirement.

We purchased this home as a vacation and retirement home that brings us closer to friends and family in New England. We love all that this area has to offer; boating, hiking, fishing, skiing, and a rural setting that is close to restaurants and shops.

Why they chose this property

From the moment we first viewed this home, we couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces. The views are absolutely stunning! In addition, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There are plenty of things to do and see in Tilton, Meredith, and Gilford, all within 20 minutes, but the neighborhood and this part of the lake are serene.

What makes this property unique

The splendid views capture you when you enter this lovely custom-built home. This is such a magical place. A wonderful entertainment spot with plenty of space for family and friends to gather. The home is large and very well laid out with enough space for large gatherings, yet plenty of rooms to retreat to for peace and quiet. There is a sitting room at the back of the house where we love to sit with our coffee in swivel rockers and watch the loons in the mornings. The patio offers the best dining spot on the lake to watch boaters and birds.
