Endless fun awaits at this classic, turn-of-the-century 4 bedroom, 3 bath knotty pine house converted from a one room schoolhouse in Laconia and moved to the western shore of Lake Winnisquam! Every room boasts panoramic views of the lake & Belknap Mountains with woodsy shorelines! Private, 300 feet of lake frontage has 2 docks: a sturdy 40-foot dock with a comfortable glider bench to watch the sun & moon rising across the lake, and a dock with a stable, dry FLOATING KAYAK-LAUNCH. There's a rowboat, canoe, 4 fast "peddle-drive" kayaks. & 6 regular kayaks, including 2 double kayaks. The sandy area has Adirondack chairs around the large wood firepit with flickering Tiki torches. We take pride in the Certification of our property by the National Wildlife Federation recognizing our commitment to sustainably provide essential elements of wildlife habitat: food, water, cover and places to raise young. My husband & I have been lucky enough to have this property in our family for three generations. We live in the carriage house next door. We are avid fishermen and love kayaking and hiking all 4 seasons here. We have lots of great memories of good times & friendships made over the years. Lake Winnisquam fishing is terrific: Lg & sm. mouth bass, lake and rainbow trout, white & yellow perch. The wildlife is abundant. The gardens are beautiful! We love to watch the sunrise and the moon rise over the mountains across the lake. We live in a wonderful neighborhood!

Why they chose this property

We are so thankful that our Grandparents chose this property with the million-dollar view, back in 1925! Step back in time and read the old guest books and journals from 1903! It is a beautiful spot!!

What makes this property unique

Relaxing, quiet, beautiful surroundings. The house is full of charm with sunny spacious rooms filled with history. We have apple, peach and cherry trees. Beautiful flowers, herbs and vegetable gardens surrounding the property, and a vegetable garden to pick from. We enjoy feeding the birds and watching them nest in the houses by the lake. The loons swim right in front of our dock. Our property has been certified by the National Wildlife Federation for recognizing our commitment to sustainably provide essential elements of wildlife habitat. We enjoy all the area wildlife in the yard: fox, mink, turkeys, bears, beavers, muskrats, chipmunks, squirrels, eagles, osprey and blue heron! We have benches along the brook bordering our property. where you can watch the native Brook trout and ducks raise their young.
