The cottage was everything we were looking for and Clair was a great host. The cottage has great privacy with a beautiful view of the lake providing a relaxing and peaceful time. It is a perfect setting for coffee on the porch, or relaxing by either the indoor or outdoor fire.Everything was perfect: great view, quiet & peaceful, clean, kitchen had all the essentials, grill, two firepits, shower had hot water & good pressure, great location, close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasure meeting you and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Looking forward having you stay again.
Clean, and cozy, as advertised cabin by the lake. My wife and I truly enjoyed our weekend stay with our pup. The space was cozy, clean and both the dock and rear sunroom were clear highlights. Enjoyable for both your morning coffee or late night cocktails. We were in town for the car show in lake geroge and it was a quick trip back and fourth. There were also plenty of great restaurants closer to the house as well. All in all it was a great weekend and would highly recommend staying at Clairs place.

I am so sorry you were disappointed in your stay. I did try to get the fireplace/woodstove working before your arrival but no one was available to do the repairs. I am not sure why the gas furnace went out but will certainly get it fixed as well. The furnace is not the only heat source as there are electric heaters in all the rooms. The cabin was built in the 1930's and unfortunately, needs repairs at times. I try to do the best I can to be a good host. Even though I was not available, I had my daughter and my friend there if you needed something. While I do live next to the cabin, I don't claim to be a hands on host. I try to give my renters as much privacy as possible and respond to their needs when appropriate.
Our family loved staying at Stone Haven. Clair was a wonderful and kind host with good communication. We had such fun swimming, fishing and paddling at the lake and found plenty of great trails and activities to explore nearby. The screened in porch was welcoming for morning coffee & breakfast, puzzles & reading. We loved outdoor dinners overlooking the lake and a couple of fires for s'mores. We will cherish the memories made in this charming home for years to come.

Beautiful stonework makes Stone Haven cabin a warm and welcome home for a quiet getaway. Easy access to everything while being very private at the cabin. We'd definitely stay here again.
