Fantastic penthouse apartment with everything you could need for a great holiday. There is every bit of kitchen equipment you could want, a cupboard full of condiments so you don’t have to buy salt or oil for just one meal, a double size bbq, an outside hot plate for cooking too, there is a trolley for the beach, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, plenty of seating on the terrace, everything was there for us - except maybe a kettle. (We are English and like our tea!, we used a saucepan).There is a small gym and a small rooftop pool which is a bonus.The apartment is a 5 - 7 minute walk from the beach depending on which beach you prefer. We find the bigger beach playa Norte too busy, the smaller one, playa Sur is better for us especially with our grandson. The sea is shallow and so warm, you can see fish swimming around as you walk in. There are sun beds, shades and pedalo boats to hire on both beaches.There are so many restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in Peñíscola you won’t be stuck for somewhere to go at night. There is a market on Monday which is always worth a a visit. And you must go for a walk up the castle but I suggest leave it until 8 or 9 pm when the bars come alive and it’s not so hot.We had another fabulous holiday in Peniscola, this is our 5th visit and we will definitely be back and back to this apartment. It is the best one we have stayed in for location and comfort. Thank you Sylvia & Toni. Xx
