An architectural gem, this contemporary cottage sits a short block away from the rocky coast line of Maine and a five-minute walk to the sandy beach or the Audubon trail. After a fun packed day at the beach - surfing, finding shells, or kayaking, enjoy a lobster picnic in the backyard or grilling on the deck. Peaceful, safe street for children to run, bike and play.

Perfect for a family with lots of amenities. Newly renovated with bright, seaside decor. Family room features cathedral ceiling with skylights and wood burning fireplace, beautiful windows and glass doors leading onto generous deck and yard beyond. Flowing, open floor plan has two first floor living areas with lots of space and direct access to outside deck.

New custom kitchen with Wolf Cooktop and Shaws Original farm sink is a chef's delight. Dining room is a wonderful place to entertain with table that seats 8 and original built-in china cabinet. Wide board pine plank floors throughout.

Second floor features three bedrooms; master with queen bed, two twins and one double bed. Upstairs living room looks down on family room below, the perfect place to curl up with a good book on a quiet afternoon. Futon offers additional sleeping option.

NOTE: No pets, 7 night minimum Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Great cottage, great location, fantastic time !

We had an amazing stay in Biddeford Pool. The house was large, very well equipped, clean, comfortable and extremely wee located a few block from the beach. The two families had plenty of space for adults, children and dogs in the house and in the vast garden where we ate and sat by the fire pit in the evening. I strongly recommend it and hope we will be back soon.

ocean views and great atmosphere

wonderful location photos don’t do the place justice. so close to the ocean and beaches beautiful home plenty of space we would definitely be back to visit again

I wanted to love this property but I could not

I travel alot and so far I have had great success finding rentals by reading reviews. This is the first time that I failed. The property had the perfect location, an absolutely beautiful back yard. Just a few minutes walk from the ocean, amazing!!!!! When entering the house it seemed to be perfect, the sweetest little beach house. After a few minutes we realized the photos on line were very old. The furniture was in tough shape due to filth. Sand & food, crumbs under the couch cushions, stains on the carpets, strong urine smell from the carpet in the front room. The dining rooms beautiful periwinkle & white carpet was only white on the backside. The top of the carpet was brown due to extreme filth. When looking for fresh soap options we discovered a slimey substance in the first floor bathroom vanity. I messaged the owner and he explained that he had a new cleaner who had clearly failed. I would have agreed but the filth we experienced was long term neglect. It was not just a lazy or inept cleaning person. We stayed in spite of this even though I never slept through one night here. The sheets on my bed had multiple stains which made me question whether the bed had been changed at all. The comforter was stained in multiple places. Upon check out we needed to strip the beds, only to discover urine stained mattress covers on two of the 4 beds. GROSS!!!!!!! I have never written a negative review but this place needs major cleaning!!!!!

Lots of family time - beach outings, both at the sandy and rocky beaches. Longtime friends, family. Golf, tennis, bike rides, sailing, sea kayaking. Long warm days in the sun with a cool calm evening. Walking to Goldthwaite's for an afternoon ice cream.
