Spacious country house, idyllic garden, gorgeous ocean view, quiet yet central

Rurally situated farmhouse in the middle of idyllic, Azorian nature. Breakfast in the sunny garden offers a beautiful view of the sea. The house is simple and open plan. It offers enough space for up to 4 people in two bedrooms. For babies/toddlers, there is also an extra bed and a baby cot.

The bathroom is spacious and is supplied with hot water via a solar system. The kitchen offers all essential functions and opens directly into the dining area. In the living area there is a large sofa bed to relax on. The garden is surrounded by a high bamboo hedge and offers shelter, peace and relaxed privacy.

Internet available and parking directly in front of the house. Bakery, mini market and snack bar in the immediate vicinity.

CHECK IN:
You will receive directions and a phone number when you book. It would be great if you could give us a call when you arrive on the island (or let us know your arrival time beforehand) to make sure that someone can meet you at the house. Tino will welcome you, hand over the keys, explain everything in detail and be there for you during your stay (always available by phone). With over 25 years of experience in the Azores, he can give you a lot of insider information and tips if you wish.

Little tucked away property,in the country

Great stay,ideal for what we needed.It was walking distance to the little shop and restaurant.We enjoyed the country walks and playing in the garden.Lovely open plan kitchen for our family.Ideal living space for a family with little ones.

Magic house, Tino is the best

We had a magic stay in this house. Everything inside is wooden made by the owner, Tino, who will help you finf everything you need (car, trails, markets and so on). The kitchen is stunning, the garden perfect for some yoga lessons. We feel at home. Thank you Tino,

Kakkerlakken, waren er ziek van!

Het is huis is mooi en heel ruim maar mag beter onderhouden worden, hondenpoep bij het terras in de tuin. En tijdens ons verblijf maar liefst 7 kakkerlakken in het huis. Ik denk dat wanneer er rondom het huis beter opgeruimd wordt dit echt niet nodig is. Eigenlijk zonde van zo’n mooie lokatie. Bedden sliepen wel prima

Maison de campagne rustique dans son jus

Maison difficile à trouver et difficile d'accÚs en voiture. HÎte réservé et discret...voire un peu sauvage. Propreté basique, trÚs belle et grande piÚce de vie mais électroménager vieillissant (lave vaisselle et machine à laver hors d'usage). Environnement trÚs calme et beau jardin, dommage qu'il manque un petit peu de mobilier pour le rendre agréable. Attention la chambre du bas est trÚs humide.

Leider feucht und schmutzig

Die Unterkunft war leider stark verschmutzt. Es wirkte so, als ob weder das Bad, noch die restliche Unterkunft geputzt wurden. Die KĂŒche war grundsĂ€tzlich sehr schön und gerĂ€umig, jedoch zeigte der KĂŒhlschrank Spuren der VorgĂ€nger. Das Hauptproblem lag jedoch in dem unteren Geschoss. Dieses konnte nur ĂŒber eine Fallleiter bzw. von außen betreten werden und man musste zwingend in dieses um das einzige Bad zu erreichen. Die Fallleiter hatte kein GelĂ€nder und barg damit nicht nur in der Nacht ein durchaus hohes Verletzungsrisiko. Der untere Schlafraum war faktisch unbewohnbar. Dieser war sehr feucht und roch verschimmelt. Die BettwĂ€sche in diesem Zimmer war nicht nur feucht, sondern auch verschmutzt. Insgesamt befand sich die Unterkunft fĂŒr vier Personen daher in einem nicht zumutbaren Zustand, auch wenn der Preis zunĂ€chst sehr fair erschien. Leider kann ich daher aus oben genannten GrĂŒnden nur einen Stern vergeben, auch wenn das Haus ein großes Potenzial bietet.

Abenteuerurlaub auf Faial gesucht?

Vorweg, wir waren zusammen mit Freunden zu Besuch und kennen aus vergangenen Reisen die Einfachheit der Azoren. Die Vorfreude ist schnell der RealitĂ€t gewichen. In den zwei Corona Jahren hat das FH offensichtlich erheblich gelitten, der Kellerbereich ( Bad & 2. Schlafzimmer) wurden ungenĂŒgend gelĂŒftet. Das untere Zimmer ist somit zum Schlafen glatt ungeeignet. Also wer nur zu Zweit kommt, kann sich nach erfolgreicher Anfahrt durch die ausgetrocknete Bachquerung und einer Grundreinigung auf einen ruhigen Urlaub freuen. In der nĂ€heren Umgebung sind kleine GeschĂ€fte fĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Bedarf + BĂ€cker. Auch die Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Um dem Meer nĂ€her zu kommen ( SteilkĂŒste), muss man ca. 15 Min. laufen. -> Mit gewissen EinschrĂ€nkungen fĂŒr 2 Personen zu empfehlen. Fahrzeug mit Unterbodenversicherung ratsam.

Our stay

Vegetarian was over grown and we did not have the ocean view like it was in the picture. We ended up popping a tire coming into property due to the road to get to property. The bathroom had a odor. All videos were in German, and would stop playing halfway through. Then DVD player stopped working. The fire pit which was to be the bbq, but there was nothing to grill on and was full with branches. No satellite and there were no trash bins outside to take out trash. The solar water heater didn’t work. Property was hard to find, we had a local help find and they couldn’t, had to call the caretaker to guide us in.

Schönes großes Haus mit traumhaftem Garten und Meerblick

Das originelle Haus ist sehr großzĂŒgig gestaltet (vor allem das riesige Bad) und hat einen großen und wunderschönen Garten mit Meerblick. Es liegt sehr ruhig und man kann sich herrlich erholen. Der Vermieter (wohnt nebenan) ist nett und hilfsbereit. Man hört die Vögel zwitschern, hin und wieder eine Kuh muhen und die Kirchenglocke bimmeln. Man wohnt fast am Land und trotzdem sind die GeschĂ€fte und Restaurants in der NĂ€he. Einige Wanderwege sind auch gleich vor der HaustĂŒr.

Tolles Haus, toller Garten, tolle Lage - perfekt

Das Haus ist im kleinen Dorf Cedros gelegen - damit hatten wir frĂŒh und abends unsere Ruhe, gleichzeitig war alles was wir brauchten in der NĂ€he: Restaurant/ Bar, Geldautomat, BĂ€cker, Pizzaria, Supermarkt... Am schönsten war das tĂ€gliche FrĂŒhstĂŒck im herrlichen Garten vor dem Haus. Bei bestem Wetter war das Entspannung pur. Das Haus war sehr groß fĂŒr uns zwei, picobello sauber und es gab alles was man braucht, fast wie zu Hause. Wir haben uns super wohl gefĂŒhlt. Bei Fragen war Tino immer ein freundlicher Ratgeber, mit vielen Insider-Tipps. Am liebsten wĂ€ren wir noch lĂ€nger geblieben und haben uns fest vorgenommen wieder hierher zurĂŒck zukommen. Danke fĂŒr einen perfekten Urlaub.

Gepflegtes Ferienhaus

Beim Betreten des liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhauses fĂŒhlten wir uns sofort wohl. Es ist mit allem Komfort, z.B komplett eingerichtete KĂŒche, gemĂŒtlichem Schlaf- und Wohnbereich sowie einem riesigen Esszimmer ausgestattet. Das Highlight war das sehr große Badezimmer mit Whirlepool. Alles war sehr sauber und sehr wohnlich. Der Service und die Betreuung durch Vermieter und Hausmeister bei Fragen und WĂŒnschen war sehr gut, die Nachbarschaft hilfsbereit und freundlich. Hier wollen wir uns nochmal beim Vermieter fĂŒr die Abholung und RĂŒckbringung zum Flughafen bedanken, die wir vorher ausgemacht hatten. Alles in Allem ein perfekter Ort, an dem man nach langen Erkundungstouren rund um die Insel sehr gerne zurĂŒck kehrt. Auch der schön angelegte Garten lud zum Entspannen beim abendlichen Grillen ein. Das war ein sehr gelungener Urlaub an den wir gerne zurĂŒck denken und den wir bald wiederholen werden. Dieses Ferienhaus kann man nur weiter empfehlen....ein Objekt bei dem das Preis-Leistungs-VerhĂ€ltnis absolut passt! Vielen Dank und bis bald!
