About this property

I would like to invite you to stay in my cabin located in the beautiful North Ga. Mountains. This location is surrounded by the beautiful outdoors with a pond in front with two fresh clean mountain springs flowing into it. It has a screened in front porch with an outdoor cabaña by the pond for some much needed relaxing with family and friends. This cabin has some of the best the North Ga Mountains can offer. With a firepit to roast marshmallows with your children while having a beverage at the bar located only a few steps away. The interior has 2 bedrooms with each having their own bathrooms. The family room offers a pullout couch which is perfect for the little ones. Upon entrance you'll be greeted into the play area with a foosball table. Stepping up into the family room you'll notice the new fireplace just recently installed. This keeps the cabin very cozy on those chilly nights. On the left and into the kitchen there are all new stainless appliances with a K Cup coffee dispenser. Morning cups on the screened in front porch while listening to the flow of mountain water into the pond will both relax and energize you for the day's adventures. In case you didn't know, the cabin is located 3 miles (as the crow flies) to Bald Mountain, the highest peak in Georgia. There's a town about 30-40 minutes away called Helen, Ga. It's Bavarian architecture makes it a very popular spot for window shopping, tube floating down the river that runs through the middle of town, the Ga. Mountain Coaster, trout fishing and golf. Not to mention Octoberfest.
So come to the cabin, relax and have a great time.

GREAT LAST MINUTE GETAWAY

From the first email, answered promptly despite Philip being out of country for work, to the comfort and central location of the cabin it was perfect. Mr. Philip was easy to reach and ready with anything we may have needed, not that we needed anything. There is plenty to do in the area, white water rafting a must do, horseback riding, a visit to Helen GA a winery or two, or just chill by the fire pit. The cabin was very clean and tucked away behind a pond that actually had fish in it but no fishing allowed. Dog friendly a plus. Plenty of kitchen items for preparing delicious meals in the cabin, or if you prefer, some great restaurants near the lake. We are already planning a return visit.

Fantastic slice of heaven

This property is magic. We sat by the pond all day, and had fires at night. The pond is full of giant tadpoles and tiny fish. The gazebo are is great when the sun is too much, or during a storm. The AC in side is fantastic—it feels great after being out by the pond all day! Each bedroom is a master suite, and the showers have very hot water—it just takes a few minutes to warm up, but is worth the wait! We cooked steaks on the grill, and breakfasts in the fully stocked kitchen. This is my third stay at this location, and I intend to be back soon!

I grew up in Blairsville, Ga. just down the road.
My work takes me out of the country but my property manager Tonia H. keeps things running smoothly.

Why they chose this property

I personally love being at the cabin when I'm in country. It's a great place to have cook-outs with the family while my grandchildren catch tadpoles in the pond. And there are a lot of tadpoles! It's a great starting point to go exploring or to do absolutely nothing. Just listen to the water running into the pond.

What makes this property unique

Close to many unique mountain towns, good local fishing, festivals, excellent restaurants, breweries, wineries, boating, hiking, night life, and yet quite at the end of the day.
