We had a wonderful family trip from the NY area. The house was perfect for us to enjoy time there but also experience local restaurants and beaches. We will be back

What a wonderful family! 5/5! Michelle and Jason were so respectful and fabulous to deal with. We would welcome them anytime.
The home and location are very quiet and relaxing. The beach is beautiful and the water is perfect. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We would rate this place a 10!
The home was just as listed. Very clean, picture perfect location, and the hosts were extremely helpful, responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend this home and hope to return in the future!
The owner was very easy to work with as well as communicate any issue, concerns and processes to follow. This is a very beautiful and quite location with privacy for family and friends to relax, not to be used as a party house…lol. The beach was nice, blue water that was clear and beautiful, which we saw several dolphins. A perfect place to relax from the hustle of city life with the family!
Our stay at the beachfront house on Casey Key was absolutely fantastic! The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the owner’s thoughtful and prompt communication. The house was spotless and spacious, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The setting is simply stunning—right on a private beach where we enjoyed peaceful mornings and breathtaking sunsets. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway, with local shops and dining just a short drive away.
Overall, this home provided a perfect beach retreat. We can’t wait to return!

Thank you Jane! It was such a pleasure to host you and your family. You are welcomed back with open arms!!
We were spoiled staying on this property! The view was amazing, the house was immaculate, and it was such a short drive from the Venice airport. So convenient! Ubers were easy to find in the area too. The few questions we did have for the owners were answered very timely. Highly recommend!

Laura, you guys were so amazing! So glad your family had a great time. Come back anytime! You guys were a gem!
Beautiful property. The pictures don't / can't tell the whole story. Located steps from the ocean; views are gorgeous. We enjoyed the yard, the ocean, the pool and views from the balconies. House is very comfortable and furnished with everything we could want. Owner was very responsive. We enjoyed seeing other parts of the island as well. Thank you. We'll be back.

Wayne, you guys were such wonderful guests. So courteous and easy to deal with. We would love to host you again.
My family was blown away by the perfection of this property!
My extended family gathered for a family memorial. Whether we were drifting in the pool, or sitting on the dock at sunset, or lounging in the family room while others cooked dinner, the house was so comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming. Germaine was prompt and helpful and accurate in all communication. The master suite is luxurious, and we left the curtains open so we could wake up to the magical view of the gulf. Can't recommend this home enough!
House is beautiful and owner is extremely responsive and caring
The house and setting are ideal. The house is large and well laid out and the views from the patio are so impressive,. We are a family of 8 and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. You are right on the water. We had a few minor issues that were all addressed by the owner and we were very appreciative of her responsiveness. Next time we head down to Florida we will definitely stay here again.

Thank you Lauri. You were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very thoughtful guests. You treated the house like your own. We welcome you back anytime. 5 stars
The house was beautiful, the owner was helpful, everything was clean & the location was quiet, peaceful & perfect for what we were looking for.
However, the pictures on this listing are misleading. There isn't really a beach. The pier leads to a 6 ft drop off to a pile of sharp rocks the waves crash against. It’s not very safe trekking out into the water ( we got some cuts trying). I know this is not the owners fault but we we’re disappointed and felt mislead when we saw what was out there vs. what you see in the pictures.

Hi Ryan
Glad you had a great time. We try to be as transparent as possible. The pictures on the site are the most updated. We would never ever mislead anyone. We have repeat clients and that is more important to us. We have no control over the weather. The beach comes and goes. One minute you have sand and a week later it disappears into the sea. Then it resurfaced again. That is Mother Nature. This is why we have so many pictures of the backyard (also date stamped). To be fair I have not been there in a few weeks, so if we lost more beach then I am sorry about that. I know it will come back again. That is life on Casey key.
My family used to come to Casey Key for a week every year when the kids were young. They are now is their 20's and this was a chance to come back and re-live a childhood memory on the Gulf of Mexico. We spent two terrific weeks together, resulting in one of the best trips ever. The house itself was beautiful. It was clean, spacious, well furnished, with great bedrooms - each with a very comfortable bed and its own private bathroom. The back patio and pool provided us the perfect place to enjoy all parts of the day - from tranquil mornings, to afternoon sun, and of course, perfect daily sunsets -no two being the same. The pool was a great addition, very clean and well kept. It seemed there was always someone in the pool cooling off or talking over an afternoon cocktail. But the back yard is also a great plus. Extremely well maintained landscape and sizable yard was perfect for croquet. There wasn't a set there, but as soon as we arrived, we saw the potential and ordered a set off Amazon for next day delivery. It became a fun daily competition for everyone.
The location of the property is not lost on me either. Once you cross the bridge onto the island, the home is only a few houses down the road. Super accessible to everything. You can literally walk to the tiki bar, boat rental area, or shopping center at the end of the road if you want some exercise, but even driving the mile provides access to the grocery (Publix), CVS, ACE hardware, and the gas station without having to go on the major road (Tamiami Trail). Germaine and her husband were also wonderful. They were available each time we called them (clarifying trash day, starting the stove top, and using the remote control - all things we should have figured out ourselves without calling) but they were always kind and very helpful. The only issue at all is beyond anyone's control - but the beach that once existed on that part of the island is gone - and one really cant walk the beach without either walking a bit down the road or wading in water nearly waist deep until you get to where the beach starts. This home does have a sandy beach to enjoy, you just cant walk the beach anymore. That said, we never left the house - it boasts the best view anywhere - in fact, there isn't a restaurant or bar anywhere with a better Gulf view or sunset experience. It was an all-around beautiful vacation and a house that I highly recommend!

Hi David
Thank you for the wonderful review. You guys were great and wonderful guests. I wanted to update you on the beach which you will be happy about. It is back. The storms in Florida have a funny way of taking sand away and bringing it back. You can walk Casey key beach for miles now. I have posted updated pictures. It is truly a magical place.
We can’t wait to have you back!
Germaine
The house and property are beautiful and we were blessed with perfect weather. The house is very spacious, but be aware that no more than 8 people are allowed. My teenage daughters may have been a little loud for the neighborhood. This area is probably best suited for older adults!

Hi Hilary
Glad you enjoyed your stay and your daughter had a wonderful 17th birthday with all of her friends. I try to be very transparent and I do state no more than 8 at the property. It is a true gem of a location and property. This property is for anyone who want to relax, enjoy private beach, snorkel, fish and go boating and Jet skiing. Hope to see you again!
Wonderful 3 weeks at our home away from home.
It couldn’t have been more perfect.
We enjoyed every moment we we there….their home is beautiful with lots of room…. Great kitchen bedrooms 2 family rooms. Great for entertaining and more
A group of us spent a long weekend in Casey Key to celebrate a milestone birthday for one of our girlfriends. The property did not disappoint. It was super clean and comfortable, the views of the ocean were spectacular and the pool and private beach were amazing. We unfortunately had very cold weather so spent a lot of time indoors, but the beautiful surroundings made it special. Germaine was very responsive when we reached out with questions and check in and check out was a breeze. We were unable to get the fire pit started and the fireplace was not working...which we wouldn't normally have wanted to use if the weather was better! Other than that...it was perfect.
