This property is in a great location to visit the area. Quiet and comfortable. Nice host amenities, like a bottle of local wine and truffle chocolates.
Just what we ordered. An immaculately maintained cabin with access to the lake, surrounding trails, and a short drive to Traverse City. Our host was the best, and we plan on returning soon!
A cute little house with a lot of amenities. We had a great time, family went on the lake with their Stand Up paddleboards and went to the Cherry Festival. Good location to take advantage of the area.
Perfect location for the cycling we had planned. Drove in from Idaho and everything with the checking in process was effortless. House was perfect for my wife and I and our dogs. Looking forward to a return visit.
We has a great vacation here. It was our first vaca with our 2 dogs and very grateful we found this place. Property is bigger than pictured and very nice and homey. Stan is a wonderful host and very accommodating. He was very prompt with communication and such a nice person. The kitchen and bath were fully stocked and there is an outdoor area for a bonfire. Lake is just a short walk and you can rent a pontoon. About 15 minutes to Traverse City so not too far. Lots of places and trails to walk the dogs. We had a very relaxing time. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and will stay here again when in the area.
Stan, our Host was very nice and helpful with any questions we had. He took us on his Pontoon Boat the 1st night we arrived. He was knowledgeable of the area and wildlife. It was a hot week, so we weren't able to enjoy the firepit and we had a rainy day or two, but we enjoyed the peaceful setting and sightseeing. We weren't able to do a lot due to my Hubby needing surgery when we get home. Our fur Baby Lucy (who doesn't like Men), took to Stan right away. Would consider staying here again.
Loved the property & amenities. Struggled the day before our arrival with setting up an account with VRBO, so we could get an address! Very frustrating & annoying. Finally reached a live customer service rep (Carlos) who was very gracious & able to get us an address & phone number for the host. Stan stopped by just after we arrived & was very friendly. Would recommend the two kayaks & paddleboat not be sitting by the dock filled with dirty water & chair cushions on the deck be protected from the rain, so we could have enjoyed sitting on them! Otherwise, lovely getaway cabin...
We stayed here as a home base for activities in the TC and Grayling area. The property was very clean and had plenty of space for two people. Appreciate that Stan ran out and bought a new coffee maker because the old was not working. Stan was also gracious enough to provide a late check out on our last day.
This cabin is extremely nice and Stan is an excellent host! We loved being close to the water and being able to use the paddle boat and kayaks. We rented his pontoon boat which was awesome! I cannot say enough good things about our stay!
We checked in and headed right to the lake where 2 of us kayaked and 2 used the paddle boat. Upon returning to the dock Stan offered to take us around the lake on the pontoon boat.
A leisurely cruise enhanced with Stan's intimate knowledge of the area. Steaks on the grill and some time around the fire pit ended our short one night stay. Peaceful and relaxing.
The cabin was just as described with all amenities we needed and Stan helped us with anything and everything - even providing a sunset cruise as we rented one of his pontoons. Our family had a wonderful time!
Owner was great to deal with. Property was clean and quiet. Recently renovated as well. Not directly on the water but useable space on the water with a fire pit and dock. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
The cabin is near downtown Traverse City and very close to all the surrounding attractions as well! My fiancé and I were very comfortable in the AC despite the humid hot weather we’ve been having. Stan the host was very kind and offered to take us out on the lake had the weather been better, we would’ve took him
Up on his offer. If you are looking for a home base for your trip look no further we were very comfortable in the time we were there.
We are a family of 6 and everyone had a comfortable spot to lay their head. It’s a great location. We went into Traverse City a few times and we visited Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leland. We enjoyed kayaking and boating. We use VRBO to find a lot of our vacation rentals and this host is by far the best we have come across. He is incredibly warm and accommodating. Our experience is a true 5 star.
