Located directly across from the beach in Playacar Phase 1, just a 15-minute stroll to the pedestrian boulevard of 5th Avenue with its abundance of shopping and dining options, this spacious villa offers unsurpassed luxury and beachfront convenience for families and large groups seeking the privacy and affordability of a vacation rental. Built with an open-concept design, the large living, dining, and kitchen area easily accommodates a family of 10.

The first thing you’ll notice about CASA GIRASOL is the private pool with a ramp that takes you directly to the pristine beach. This villa is fully wheelchair-friendly. The terrace features dining for 8 and lounge chairs. As you walk into the home, you are greeted with a spacious living room complete with satellite TV, and an adjacent dining room with seating for 8. The open floor plan allows family members in the fully equipped kitchen to stay in contact with others even at the pool.
Casa Girasol has 4 ensuite bedrooms. The beautiful master suite also has an ocean view with direct access to the beach and pool and is furnished with a King Size bed. A second bedroom features 2 full beds and a fully wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The third guest bedroom has a King Size bed, while the fourth bedroom has 2 full beds. All of the bedrooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms, large closets, mini-split air conditioning, ceiling fans, and flat-screen TVs.
As magnificent as Casa GIRASOL is on the inside, the outdoor area will delight your senses as well with its oversized terrace, Weber BBQ, shaded exterior dining area, and large oceanfront pool with direct access to the beach.

Excellent beachfront house
This house is awesome! It's beautiful, was very clean & new, spacious, and perfect for 2 families traveling together. Great kitchen. Comes with filtered water that gets replaced during the stay if you leave the empty bottles out front. Very large & well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds.
Playacar Fase 1 is a quiet & charming neighborhood- mostly large, interesting single family homes with lots of tropical greenery. The beach is perfect for swimming; the seaweed was only a problem 1 day out of our 8 day stay, and even then we could walk a short distance down the beach to find a clearer spot. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk to town- you come out by the Paseo del Carmen mall very close to everything downtown (tons of restaurants).
We got by without a rental car; you can walk to Oxxo/7eleven & tons of restaurants. We used taxis to get groceries and booked vans to go to activities (cenotes, akumal, xcaret). UberEats delivers from a selection of local places (Ay Taco is a great option for quick & tasty tacos).
