IN 2004, WE BOUGHT THIS STUDIO GIVING OURSELVES THE CHALLENGE OF CREATING A TRULY IMPRESSIVE VACATION DESTINATION IN A SMALL SPACE. OUR GOAL WAS TO INCLUDE ALL THE AMENITIES OF OUR LARGER CONDO BUT AT HALF THE PRICE. OUR GUESTS TELL US WE SUCCEEDED.

Imagine spending your week in a stunningly decorated studio condo, pampered with regular maid service, right on the ocean, and playing in the Caribbean Sea, that is so blue and clear, it takes your breath away. Welcome to mycozumelcondo Studio 302.

My Cozumel Condo 302 is a wild and funky but, an energetic, coming together of Latin and modern decorating. We have taken the small size of this studio and filled ever square inch with art and amenities in order to provide one or two guests with the best lodging experience, in arguably the nicest condo setting on Cozumel island.

There are reasons why our condos have one of the highest returning guest rates on the island. First is the unique location. If you are considering a condo rental, first ask "is it right on the ocean?" We are located on one of the most pristine shores in Cozumel.

Then you must ask, "What will our seaside recreation area be like?" Many of the recently built condos are essentially huge concrete decks with gorgeous pools. Many condos that have sandy beaches do not have privacy and in Mexico, every citizen can join you at your beach if it is accessible.

Our condo's private shore area cascades down on three levels. There is a pool and sun deck level with a cold water shower, then you step down on either side of the pool to the sand beach where there are two palapas and a pergola.

A unique nautical observation deck extends out into the ocean. From here you enter the ocean by ladder or from the pier. "We snorkeled all over the island but discovered that some of the best snorkeling was right out in front of your condo." wrote a guest.

Our studio is on the third floor, one flight of stairs up from the entrance gate. You will immediately be impressed with the creative lighting giving the feeling of Murano glass. The bath on your right is entirely decorated with a vibrant ceramic tile and has a well positioned shower stall.

Step farther into the space and you will see a cleverly planned galley kitchen- a stove and oven, microwave, under-counter refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, a sink and cabinets that provide the utensils and table-settings to allow you to fix meals if you choose to do so. The condo's first open space has a table for two beneath a stunning, original wall mural of a Caribbean sunset. At night, the table folds down and a Murphy bed (just under queen size) folds out of a fabulously crafted cabinet with "his and her" wardrobes and drawers on either side.

Then you step down into a living area. There are two loveseats opposite the LCD Flatscreen TV and DVD Combo. On the same wall is a large chest to store your suitcases. Finally, you will step though glass doors onto your private balcony with a table and two chairs and a 180 degree view of the Caribbean...from the town of San Miguel to the historic Cozumel marina. Watch the cruise ships depart in the evening and the dive and fishing boats leave every morning.

You will have a local phone line and we have wireless internet. We also have a local phone line for your calls for reservations at one of Cozumel's fantastic restaurants. Our zealous maid will clean your place regularly, including your dirty dishes and our agent will answer every question about the Island.

When Mexico decided to provide an ocean retreat for the President, it selected Cozumel as the location. They chose the North Drive for the location. So the President of Mexico is our neighbor to the south.

The North Drive is the exclusive quiet area on the island where luxury condos are being built. If you rent another unit south of San Miguel, your week in Cozumel will be faced with thousands of cruise ship patrons leaving the ships for town and the taxis that follow them.

From our condo you can walk to the central square. It is less than a mile. Or stroll north a couple of miles to our Jack Nicklaus golf course to hit a ball, or enjoy some of the best bird-watching in the Yucatan. This is our location.

However if you are looking for a party condo for Spring Break, do not bother to call. Our condominium prides itself in being a quiet paradise in stark contrast to the noisy night of hotel culture around us. We offer serious discounts for off season and "near to the date" bookings.
