Sunrise Beach log cabin ON THE BEACH "location, location, location!!!") - 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom authentic, rustic, log cabin located on 10 wooded acres with direct beach access on Lake Superior!!! This is an amazing Beach cabin, one you won't find many of. Two Tv's w/Satellite; wifi Internet access will keep you connected while you vacation; the beach is one step out the back door! Lake Superior views, sugar sand beach, just like having the beach to yourself! fire pit, 3 car garage, king size beds, bunk room for the kids or singles, full kitchen and much more.

Peaceful Cabin on the Lake

Family gathering

We went to the location in Christmas for a late summer family gathering. The cabin was so roomy and had all the amenities we needed and more! The location is so private , surrounded by woods yet opens up to the bay off of Lake Superior with a sandy beach. So beautiful!

Very relaxing and beautiful.

The location on Lake superior is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is in a quiet community where you have privacy. You can fall asleep to the waves on Lake Superior. The cabin is well furnished and clean. Great experience!

Julu 2022 trip

Easy to find, close to Munising, Au train and other attractions. The house had a great layout, view of Lake Superior, beach and sunrises from the living and the bedrooms. The beach was awesome.

Family Trip

The cabin was perfect for our family. The private beach was amazing and views was spectacular, enjoyed the fire pit cooked s’mores. The check in process was easy and owner made everything easy and communication was above average. The gift basket and of bread and blueberry jam was a nice gesture we appreciated everything about the property We highly recommend this cabin, we definitely will will be back

A weekend getaway!

This property is gorgeous! We loved the private beach. The lake is so clear. The water is cold but the kiddos didn't care. They had so much fun on the beach and in the water. The house was very comfortable for the 7 of us. The location is great! We went to the pictured rocks, a couple of waterfalls and the sand dunes. We would definitely like to return someday!

Amazing Location and Communication

The location was absolutely incredible and exactly what my family was looking for. There were some water issues that the property management knew about and had warned us about and they are in the process of fixing but was a bit frustrating. The lake was beautiful, the house was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time. L

Wish check in was a couple hours earlier, or I was told it was available b4 I left to travel. Overhead kitchen light not working. Otherwise Perfect.

Great property with a great location!

This property was perfect for us - two adult couples vacationing together. Two bedrooms with two baths on opposite sides of the cabin with kitchen, dining and great room in between. The beachfront is fantastic and great for a campfire in the evening. The location was perfect for us as we hit Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks cruise, Pictured Rocks hiking, Sugarloaf mountain, Presque Isle Park, and numerous waterfalls. There is a casino in Christmas too if you need a break from hiking. Supplies are abundant in Munising so don't worry forgetting something or packing enough food. Lisa did a great job of providing us with information for our stay and we couldn't have been happier about our week in the UP! Will definitely be back again and would love to stay at this cabin again!

NO SAFE drinking water so dishonest

Deceitful, dishonest and what gives rentals a bad name. Not until the week before were we informed the water was unsafe to drink. The owners knew of this for months, yet this information was not communicated prior to full payment. Had we been made aware of the situation we would NEVER have chosen this rental. Yes, there is one dispenser of safe water located in the kitchen to obtain safe drinking water. VERY INCONVENIENT every time you want to brush your teeth and it is disgusting showering in yellow/rusty water. Very, very dishonest. Will definitely not be going back to a disgustingly, deceitful rental property. Shame on the owners.

Cabin Getaway in the Woods

We had an amazing trip to this cozy cabin in the woods nestled directly on Lake Superior. We were able to use this home for two families and it was perfect. The wood cabin truly gives you a sense of camping but with the luxuries of being in a home. The house is located within a short drive to town where we could launch our boat for a nominal fee. The driveway to the cabin is large enough for a couple cars or even a boat (should you decide to bring one) The cabin is also pretty close to the local grocery stores. We found Family Fair to be our favorite for all the things we needed. We were able to make many dinners in this home and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We even found a shaker to make margaritas!! The house does not have A/C, but do not let that deter you. The evenings cool off so much that opening a window is plenty and the sound of the water breaking on the beach is just serene. Whether it was the early morning cup of coffee or the star lit evenings, having the walk to the water right out our backdoor, could not be beat. The kids loved looking for rocks. It was a great escape! Would absolutely come back again! We miss UP already.

We had a wonderful vacation! The home is right on the beach, very private with its own firepit. We had several fires in the firepit which is just a few feet from the water. It was a beautiful setting for watching the sunset, incredible starry nights, with the moon rising directly from Lake Superior. Modern log home well maintained, with all the amenities. Great Location, in Christmas MI. The Pictured Rock Tour boats, Pictured Rock Hiking Trails and several Waterfalls are minutes away in Munising MI. We enjoyed all of these natural wonders. Lisa (host) was very attentive making sure we were well taken care of.

Location beautiful. House very nice - but age has affected the structure. - opening windows on south side brought overwhelming stench of septic system in. Sweat stained pillows for pull outs. Yuck. Not sure if it was the lake or point source tap water that made us itch . . . Strangers pulled up to store a boat in the garage - ? Good thing we werent using it! “Hot tub” is a jacuzzi. Overpriced. Two stars.

Great floor plan.

This rental was extremely clean and quite private. There are two primary bedrooms with their own full bathrooms on either side of the house separated by a great room. This makes an excellent set up for two adult couples. The kitchen is great for entertaining with newer appliances. Great home!

Great lake front cabin

This cabin is in a great location. It provides excellent privacy, but is a short drive to everything you need in town. We loved having our own little beach and wish the weather cooperated better to enjoy the lake and have a fire. The cabin is very clean and stocked well with all of the kitchen essentials, plenty of towels and extra pillows. It does have a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom that we didn’t take advantage of while we were there. There is also great phone coverage and internet while at the cabin. We would stay here again.
