Butterfly Ridge Cabin is situated atop and center the Arkansas Grand Canyon. Stargazers and sun watchers love our priceless panoramic views! Sunrises from the front porch, sunsets from the deck. Dark Sky country views of the Milky Way and more from the firepit. Formerly known as KWCabin, we were inspired to change our name as we have enjoyed the vast amount of butterflies that gather around our black walnut trees.

Located just 8 miles outside of Jasper, home of a destination café, shops and history. The Buffalo River Region - Lost Valley, Ponca, and Boxley Valley are 20-30 minutes along a scenic drive. Grinders Ferry is approximately an hour away along the most scenic drive in all of the Ozarks.

Cozy and contemporary furnishings and décor invite you to settle in and enjoy every second of your home away from home. Our well-equipped kitchen is a Butterfly Ridge guest favorite. Whether cooking for the family on a foggy morning or after a hike on one of many nearby trails, you'll find everything you need at your fingertips. The oversized bathroom with a separate shower and soaking tub provide the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Rainy day? Movies, books, games for all ages, WiFi and Smart TV for you to enjoy.

Wildflowers, waterfalls, and wildlife abound during spring, summer, and fall. A blanket of colors is laid during peak fall season. Mild winters allow for unique adventures as bare trees expose unmatched views. Endless hiking, biking, river activities, off-roading, motorcycling, horseback trail riding and sight-seeing are within quick reach.

You cant beat the view! The house was so cute. Nice kitchen, we didn't use really, it was a no cooking for us vacation, but there were plenty of place to sit and enjoy a meal. It was very clean and smelled nice too. The front porch was perfect for watching the sunrise. We absolutely loved itand will recommend it to our friends.

We were so impressed with the cabin! Decorated adorable for Christmas. The beds were comfortable and so warm with all the warm blankets everywhere. Everything in the kitchen to cook our dinner and really enjoyed the grill. We are already planning our next stay.

Delightful cabin overlooking gorgeous Arkansas "Grand Canyon"

This cabin is delightful! It was our second time staying there. Ashley is a wonderful host who is responsive, helpful, and friendly. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you might need and more. It has the absolute BEST view of the canyon from the quaint and cozy front porch. It's within a 10 min drive or so from the cute little town of Jasper where there are a few neat shops and restaurants. This is such a neat cabin in a beautiful, peaceful place. Highly recommend!

Great cabin with awesome views

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway for us and our dogs. It is very spacious and super clean (probably one of the cleanest I’ve been to!). The location is very convenient to the town of Jasper and only a mile or two from the Cliff House Inn and the Arkansas Grand Canyon. The view from the front porch is spectacular. I would definitely recommend!

Cozy cabin.

Our family of four and two dogs used this clean and cozy cabin as base camp while hiking for three days. Communication with owner was prompt and the cabin was very well stocked. Only 15 min to a grocery store in Jasper and Ozark Cafe was cute and had good comfort food. It is a dry area so bring your wine from home. The nature in the Ozarks is stunning, had the best time hiking!

If only for the sunsets and sunrises!

Butterfly Hill was the best base camp for our adventures. Located near so many Buffalo River treasures and Jasper’s downtown. We adventured all day, headed into Jasper for dinner, and then returned to the cabin for the BEST sunsets! 360! Ashely is an also a great host. On top of everything. And the cabin is so cute and comfy. So many nice touches to make it feel like home. Definitely recommend!

Cute mountain cabin

Great mountain cabin, very well stocked with everything you may possibly need. Not modern per se, but very cozy. For those that may care, I will mention the couches and the beds are all very, very firm (husband called them “hard”) yet we still slept pretty well so it didn’t seem to affect us much… just definitely the most firm mattresses I’ve ever lay on. Lol The Mountain View is great - you do have traffic coming in front of the house regularly, but infrequent enough that it was still relaxing to a it out front especially in the earlier mornings and after dark. Only suggestion I might make to owner is adding comfortable, relaxing chaise lounge chairs or similar, and shade umbrellas, on the back porch…. We would have enjoyed that, especially at sunset. We really enjoyed our stay - thanks for hosting us!

Our family became guardians of this breathtaking Arkansas Grand Canyon cabin and it's surrounding 2.5 acres in the spring of 2020. After decades of visiting the area, hiking Round Top, Hawksbill, Sam's Throne, Glory Hole and floating the beautiful Buffalo National River, we count ourselves extremely fortunate to share this beautiful and well located cabin with our guests.
As small business owners in Kansas City and recent empty-nesters, we are fulfilled by creating the best home away from home experience. Many of our guests say that "we've thought of everything" and "you could show up with nothing but the clothes on your backs" and you'll have every comfort, necessity and then some taken care of as soon as you walk through the door or onto the wraparound deck. This is our home away from home and that's exactly what we want you to feel during your stay.
