We have the 4 parking spots closest to our house. There are 7 total parking spots in the parking area for our house and the neighbor. However, 3 of them are for the neighboring property. The 4th spot in front of our property will only fit a car. It will not fit 4 SUVs or 4 Trucks, it will fit 3 SUVs/Trucks and 1 car.

Vacation time

Beautiful home and location. We seen geese ,cranes , mallard duck, and a bald eagle all while sitting on the beautiful decks enjoying our morning. Definitely a great vacation

The property was great. The location was fantastic..... backing up to the river that runs through Gatlinburg and being only a few minute walk to hillbilly golf. The interior was very well decorated, with comfortable furniture, lots of space, and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you might need. I Forget would definitely stay here again.

Lazy river

The home is lovely and close to downtown Gatlinburg. Being able to walk to town was nice since parking is limited and costs $20 everywhere in town. We were there when Hurricane Helena hit the east coast so we had a lot of rain and time in the house! And the porch overlooking the river was where we spent the most time.

Perfect!

This was one of the best VRBO rentals we have ever stayed at! The house was perfect for the five couples that stayed, we loved the fact that everyone has their own bathroom. The location was beautiful and easy to get to, it was wonderful not to have to always go through the downtown traffic to get to the house. The amenities and supplies were top notch and we can't to come back!

Terrific

The cabin was roomy, clean and a great location to downtown Gatlinburg. We were able to walk and we didn’t have to drive and pay the high parking fees. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. The desk over looks the river and was so nice sitting at night or during the day and relaxing. I will definitely keep this one in my files to rent again.

Amazing place

We had a great time, there was 9 of us and it was great having the 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals and this was by far the best. It was so clean, had everything we needed the kitchen was stocked with everything needed for cooking, we walked everyday to town even though the trolley stops at the end of the street. We had one small issue and the management was all over it immediately. Will definitely rent this place again. We would give it a 6 if we could!!!

Simply Fabulous

Rivercation is an ideal vacation property for many reasons. The many common areas—dining room, great room, kitchen, two decks overlooking the river, and backyard fire pit—provide ample space for groups to gather or for individuals to find time alone. The hot tub is a real bonus. And each bedroom has a private bath, which meant even a large group could get up and get ready quickly in comfort. The interior is bright and clean. And the location is near to the Gatlinburg strip—a short drive or walk depending on the destination. Add it all up, this property really added to a simply fabulous family vacation.

4 Sisters and Our Sister In Law - Girls' Trip!

Our group of 5 had a wonderful time and couldn't have been more impressed with the home and its location! With the busy Gatlinburg traffic, it was wonderful to walk into town for shopping, dining and all the local sites. While town is very fun to visit, we rated our favorite & best time hanging at the house! The TVs were never turned on and enjoyed being right on the river, taking in the views from both levels of decking, and playing games at the large family dining table. The bonus was each bedroom having a private bath. Literally, every room was very well appointed. We will come back and we highly recommend putting this VRBO on your must-booking!

Great Place for Family/Friends Reunion

We had 5 couples for our classmate reunion in Gatlinburg before visiting the Smoky Mountains. The cabin is gorgeous and has everything we need for vacation such as cleanliness, fully equipped kitchen, close to town/attractions etc. and most importantly is each bedroom has it's own bathroom. All of us enjoyed the cabin very much and some even said the stay was too short and we should do it again next time. One thing I would like to mention is the two bedrooms upstairs facing the river. It would provide more privacy if there are curtains or blinds to cover the windows instead of sheers. I will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wish to have a great rivercation in the Smoky Mountains.

River Stay

House was as advertised. River location fantastic and every morning spent drinking coffee before daylight in perfect solitude. Plenty of kitchenware for any need. Beds comfortable. Entire family loved it. TVs seldom turned on. Our intent is to rent again in near future. One thing for owner to consider is a light gate on the deck. Since we had two young kids with us, we put up a portable gate at top of stairs for additional safety. This wasn’t a negative….just something that may enhance someone else’s stay with small children.

Our criteria for the properties we buy are high quality, good roads to and from the cabin, and location. This property has it all! To sit on the back deck and enjoy the river, to walk to downtown, to enjoy the high quality property during your vacation, what more could one ask for on a getaway!

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits to this property are obvious. To be slightly repetitive, you cannot beat this location. As Gatlinburg grows and more and more people have to stay further than 30 minutes from downtown, this property is IN downtown already! You can walk to downtown within 10 minutes, or you can walk 5 minutes to the nearest Trolley Stop. But nothing is more unique than being ON the Little Pigeon River!! It is so beautiful and relaxing, everything one could ask for on a vacation.
