The home is beautiful. Deer are eating right up to the door of the home. Very quite and peaceful. We did get a little snow and that was interesting but we loved our stay.
The cabin was clean and cozy and stocked with everything you could need. The process was easy and the owner was wonderful to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This is the most beautiful place we’ve ever .stayed. The Attention to detail on everything from towels lines and cleaning supplies.
But the most impressive is the attention to detail in this beautiful home. The owner was in constant touch with us via phone and text and answered us almost immediately with the few times I reach out to her. I don’t think id stay anyway else again in ellijay. Thanks BARBARA.
Excellent host. Cabin very well stocked. You only need to buy food.
Easy to rent, vrbo had excellent descriptions. Watching all the deer was fun. Mountain road is curvy so watch out for the deer. Beautiful place to stay. Felt like home.
The cabin was tasteful decorated, well appointed and very well stocked, neighbors were friendly and offered suggestions for things to do in the area! Hiking etc. the deer were everywhere!
My husband and I, along with another couple, enjoyed our stay at Cozy Bear Cabin. The cabin is located in a quiet, gated community and it was fully stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. This cute and rustic cabin has all the conveniences one would want when looking for a place to unwind and relax. The owner was also a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend staying at the Cozy Bear Cabin!
My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway for a few days and found this cabin. It was perfect. Barbara, the owner, has created the ideal homey, cozy bear cabin with all the little extras like toiletries and candles, besides games and plenty of towels and linens. The place has lots of charm, clean, and seemed like a new cabin with very nice furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. Just pick up the groceries. The location is far enough to feel secluded, but a 15 minute drive to stores and restaurants. Be prepared for plenty of deer (Doe and fawns) to entertain you from the back porch morning and evening. The location is in a gated community with availability to use the tennis courts, pickleball, swimming pools, and fishing in the river. This would be a place to come back to if you're looking for a cabin getaway in the mountains!
Let me start by saying we stay in A LOT of rental homes while vacationing. This was probably the best experience we have had! The location is perfect, close to downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge, and an easy 1.5-hour drive to Chattanooga. The cabin is comfortable, exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. Spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, quality bedding, stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer with detergent, the cabin provided everything we could possibly need, including board games and movies! We enjoyed the porches and rocking chairs, it’s a great place to enjoy the wooded view and peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed watching the deer graze in the yard and were even lucky enough to see a black bear with two cubs on a neighboring property. The area is quiet and serene which made for a very relaxing visit. The cabin is easily accessible with any vehicle as we had no problem climbing the paved roads to the cabin each day. The owner provided excellent directions which I highly recommend following AS IS. Google Maps took us to the opposite side of where we needed to be. The owner reached out to us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed and was very helpful in answering our questions. It is evident she cares about her renter’s experience and has given much thought/taken time to provide the necessities as well as extra special touches. We look forward to returning!

Why they chose this property
There is nothing more peaceful and pure about being in the mountains. I have always loved this area. After selling my my first property, I found out quickly that a part of my life was missing, and was lucky enough to find this cabin which filled the void. With all the amenities and venues available, my grandchildren have a good time here. It is wonderful to be able share, so others can enjoy the relaxing moments of being in the mountains.
What makes this property unique
The wildlife is plentiful and watching the deer, hearing the birds and perhaps one day, see the bears ....at a distance, make it a great place to slow the world down.
