Residence: Le Martinet campsite on the banks of the Loire at Briare Le Canal offers you the chance to get up close and personal with nature. On the banks of the Loire, discover the sixty species of dragonfly found in the Loiret, follow in the footsteps of the discreet beaver, rediscover your child's eyes as you observe the sublime day peacocks, the colourful bee-eaters, the terns, the kingfishers and of course the swifts, these prodigious birds which have given their name to our campsite and which have the surprising characteristic of never landing on the ground. They eat, drink, sleep, breed and collect nesting material without ever stopping to fly, except when it's time to lay their eggs.



Just two kilometres from the famous Pont-Canal de Briare, you'll learn about the fascinating local history of Henri IV, Jean-Félix Bapterosses and Gustave Eiffel.



You'll also enjoy all the amenities of the town of Briare le Canal, just ten minutes away on foot, or five minutes by bike.
