Situated on nearly two wooded acres, this private lakeside retreat is a nature lover’s paradise! With a spacious deck, large screened-in porch, fire pit, and dock, there are plenty of serene views to take in from the comfort of this property.

The picturesque setting is great for a romantic getaway, vacation with family/friends, or a relaxing fishing weekend.

Hello Sunshine Cabin has been recently renovated and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The open floor plan has a modern kitchen, updated bathroom, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Kitchen is well appointed with cookware, dishes, utensils, and a Keurig. The family room includes a queen size sleeper sofa allowing this home to comfortably accommodate 6 guests.

Curl up with a book and your morning (or all day) coffee on the deck as you watch the sunrise and listen to the birds chirp.

The large screened-in porch offers a quiet space to do a puzzle, play a game of Euchre with friends, or dine “al fresco.” Recap the special memories you made during your trip around a bonfire as you roast S’mores and enjoy a sweet after-dinner treat.

Irons is in Northern Michigan where wildlife could be present so we ask that you bring any food inside when you retire for the evening.

While WIFI is available, we strongly encourage our guests to “unplug” while visiting.

Much needed getaway

Me and my Wife enjoyed our stay at your cabin, we’re very busy people with kids sports and running a Buisness. So the serenity and seclusion of your property was just what the doctor ordered, we enjoyed the fire pit and had some much needed us time. Only downfall to your place was the lakes so low I couldn’t fish off of the dock, but coffee time on the dock was filled with watching a six point buck and an eagle flying over. Highly recommended if you need some peace and quiet and a place to recharge your battery!

Peaceful cabin weekend

We were looking for someplace remote and peaceful, and this cabin was absolutely perfect! Property sits on a huge lot with beautiful lake views out of the picture windows. Updated kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and extra amenities (toiletries, keurig coffee and tea, doggie treats) were such a nice touch. Host is super responsive and check in/out process was a breeze. Being pet friendly was just the cherry on top - our city pup loved romping around the huge yard! Will definitely book this spot again in the future!

Sunshine Cabin Serenity

Quaint and rustic on the outside, immaculate and modern on the inside. Sunshine cabin seems remote but close to dining and activities. Beautiful wooded location with wildlife and small lake. Family gathered for a memorial for a loved one so it was a perfect setting.

Great hide away!!!

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place!!! I could have stayed on the screen porch for the entire stay and watched the turkeys, deer, geese, ducks, etc. Surrounded by trees and great views. Thank you!
