Larkspur (Trailhead Lodge 4116) offers the best in mountain contemporary living for your vacation, any time of year. Larkspur is located steps to the Wildhorse Gondola, whisking you directly to the ski base(winter only). Trailhead Lodge features one of the best amenity packages available in Steamboat Springs including a "on call" shuttle (winter only), large pool, 3 hot tubs, fitness center, game room, outdoor fire-pit, shared BBQ area, central air-conditioning, deluxe boot-drying facility, and ski storage.

Skiing access is snap as you can put on your boots in the main level storage area, take a few steps to the Trailhead Gondola which whisks you away to Steamboat's Gondola Square. The fitness room is first class if you need to get in a workout. The outdoor grill area is the perfect place to BBQ with a large patio and fireplace with the ski area as your backdrop. In the morning enjoy coffee and tea complimentary in the lobby. As locals, we are here to quickly handle any issues and provide expert Steamboat insights! We follow all local rules and state laws regarding taxes, occupancy, and any other nightly rental restrictions.
Each of our vacation rental homes comes with the essentials needed to enjoy your Steamboat Springs vacation; towels, linens, bathroom products, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, tissues, etc. You will be required to electronically sign our vacation home rental agreement to finalize your reservation. Your reservation total includes all applicable state and local taxes, Accidental Damage Protection, and a cleaning fee.
Cancellation Policy: Non-holiday reservations: Reservations cancelled at least 30 days before arrival day will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 29 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded whatever amount we can re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.
Holiday reservations (the week of Christmas and the week after Christmas): Reservations cancelled at least 45 days before the start of your stay will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 44 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded the amount we re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.
Is there a cancellation fee? You can cancel any reservation for free up to 48 hours after booking. After 48 hours we charge a $100 administrative fee for cancelling a reservation more than 30 days from arrival date (45 for holiday reservations).
We encourage you to buy our Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) insurance to ensure you won't lose any money due to circumstances out of your control.

It was a great stay! The condo had everything we needed and the community pool/hot tub was super nice. The property managers were communicative and kind!
The wildhorse gondola doesn’t run in the summer so you have to drive up to the base which is not far at all but just a helpful point for those wondering!

The property was as advertised. It was clean and the check in process was seamless. It is about a 5 minute drive into town but that wasn't an issue for us. Everyone in Steamboat was so nice and the restaurant scene was fabulous. We would recommend this property!

Great place for 2 couples. So easy to walk out of garage where skies are stored and within about 30 feet be getting on the gondola. Easy drive into town to check out great restaurants.What was the middle of the night banging Monday and Tuesday nights, metal on metal? It was outside of condo.

Hi and thank you for your review. This is a fantastic unit, the building amenities are unique and access to the slopes or downtown is a breeze. The building did experience some issues with intermittent hot water during your stay (that are now identified) and while we know that was frustrating at times, we communicated exactly what the building management was telling us and also refunded 25% nightly rate all though it was out of our control. Our hope is future guests will recognize this was an isolated incident.
The location was excellent. The gondola made is easy to access the mountain and village area. The unit is clean and very spacious. The only issue we had was the rain shower in the master has very little water pressure. Four Seasons was a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions timely.

Wonderful condo in a great location near town. We love the summers in Steamboat and have stayed on the mountain several times but really preferred the convenience of being closer to town and the river trail. We closed out every afternoon at the condo’s huge and uncrowded pool and hot tubs. The furnishings were excellent, beds comfortable, and the unit was very clean. Also, the owners were especially kind and amenable when I asked to change dates at the last minute due to a funeral.

Four Season Steamboat
The unit was clean but couch needs to be replaced. It is very worn and some stains. Good supply of kitchen supplies to cook and clean with. Most disappointing was the mess left by birds from a bird feeder in the unit above. The birds were loud and disruptive with flying in and out. The deck and railing were very dirty with bird excrement. The chair cushion was stained by the bird poop. To the managers credit someone came and cleaned the deck when we called to let them know there was a problem. But within 24 to 48 it was back to where we didn't want to go out there and use.Just affected the ability to enjoy the outdoor portion of the unit and very disruptive of indoor time unless we totally closed the blinds. Roku TV diffcult to get any regular TV channels.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the couch and, more significantly, the bird mess on the deck. We understand how frustrating and disruptive that must have been. While we're glad our team was able to respond quickly to your initial concern, it's clear that the ongoing nature of the issue impacted your enjoyment of the space, and for that, we are truly sorry.
We have reached out to the building manager to find out if this is a known issue for other units and what can be done for future guests.
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a much better experience for you in the future.
Place was awesome and even better in person. Would stay here again (and plan to). Only "issue" was the check in process but once we figured it out it was fine. I would recommend having the key to the condo on site or a better location. GPS had us go to a completely different building and had to hunt for the lockbox. Email said approx 2 blocks from condo and it was about 1/2 a mile. It would not deter me from renting again as the place was awesome and we do plan to come back and rent here again. Just wish the check in process to get the key was easier but now I know for next year :)

Cigarette Smoke
Upon arrival electronic would not work, went to front desk twice to get it to work, A/C not working upon arrival, both were fixed with help from maintenance. Room key failed several more times, once after midnight with no one around- thankfully our daughter was still out & had a key that did work. The absolute worst thing was upon arrival the stench of tobacco smoke within the air & softgoods in apartment. We reported this to management & they offered to spray but we declined adding more chemicals to the environment. Upon arriving home, even our hair & suitcase clothing smelled of tobacco smoke. The smell was not coming from outside, was from inside the unit.

Hi, it is unclear to us why the unit would smell of smoke as the unit is non-smoking and the building is non-smoking. We had our team in there prior to the guests arrival and at that time, there was no smell. The only idea we had was maybe someone was using tobacco products on their patio and the smell permeated into other units. We offered to come by and assess and the guest declined and said the next day it had dissipated. For the keycards, it is important to keep them seperate from a phone, the guest never reached out about their keycards not working so I don't know why this happened and after their departure all the cards were in working order. We are sorry the guest had these issues and responded promptly when they reached out.
Skiing was perfect! Management was polite but obviously was not looking to spend any money to fix the problem. The heating and cooling system did not work. We had to use windows and doors to try to cool off and fireplace to try to heat. We complained second day of our seven day stay. Ultimately 3 of the four of us came back sick. Management visited room and ultimately said that nothing could be done. They chose not to send out a repairman. Maybe I should have thrown a fit but was polite because I had no other options. Management had no desire to spend the money to fix the system. I told them we were basically miserable for the entire trip other than when skiing. Lodge is great but I would try another room until the heating and air is confirmed to be fixed.
Room is as advertised. Pictures show the room as is. Just plan to be uncomfortable most of the time and to not sleep well. Good luck!

This guest reached out to us after 2 days mentioning it was too hot in the unit. We sent our maintenance team up twice and contacted the building wide maintenance and after multiple checks over a few days, we all determined the thermostat in the unit was working properly and there was not an issue with the building wide heat. The guest did wish to turn on the AC ,but those systems can not be run in the winter temperatures. He also mentioned using the fireplace which is next to the thermostat and puts out a lot of heat, hence the rising temperatures in the unit. We do understand everyone has different levels of comfort when it comes to temperatures and are sorry that the guest was not comfortable, but to say we did not communicate and address the problem just isn't a fair statement. For the future, we recommend if you don't want it to be warmer in the unit, then do not use the fireplace.
