About this property

200 year old, large townhouse with romantic patio

The cottage Sigean is rented out privately and is fully furnished with beds for 6 to 8 people. The decor is tasteful and original, the house clean and tidy. Exposed stone walls, playful wallpaper, fireplaces, stone floors, the high light areas and not least many lovely details give the whole house a comfortable homelike atmosphere - the best prerequisite for a great holiday in France.

Set in the picturesque courtyard with tables, chairs, sun loungers, BBQ and umbrellas to relax. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots and complete household and Gas / electric cooker and dishwasher. In downstairs toilet is a functional machine. TV or telephone does not exist. Heating is, if necessary, with electric radiators or two cozy fireplaces. Hot water is preparing a large, modern electric boiler.

In the two floors you will find the following premises:

    Ground floor (100 sqm): living room, kitchen, dining room, pantry, bathroom / WC
    1. OG. (100 sqm): 4 bedrooms, bathroom / WC
    lights, quiet and lush landscaped courtyard with natural stone floor and -mauern (approx 100sqm)
    (The second OG. has not yet been removed)

Beautiful stay in Sigean

We stayed in this house for a month and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful region : the nature around the Etang is amazing and only 3 km away, the seaside near La Palme is lovely, clean and quiet, beautiful cities and monuments to visit nearby ... The house is great and the owners are very kind and correct. We would absolutely recommend this house !

Deux semaines très agréables

La maison était idéale pour la grande famille qu'on était (7 personnes). Tout était pratique à utiliser - cuisine, parasols, cartes de la région, vélos - sauf le hamoc qui a lâché sous un poids assez modeste. On a apprécié l'ambiance et les températures agréables dans la maison et la cour ombragée. Et on a bien dormi. Comme la plage la plus proche nous ne plaisait pas trop et la route étant peu attractive, on avait abandonné l'idée d'aller à la plage à bicyclette.

Charmante, ruime vakantiewoning met gezellig terras

Meteen bij aankomst waren we gecharmeerd door de buitengevel van de woning. Een leuk rijhuis in een smal authentiek straatje midden in het centrum van Sigean. Dicht bij verschillende aangename stranden, de bakker en de slager om de hoek, verschillende grote supermarkten in de buurt en maar liefst 2 buurtsuperettes op loopafstand. Er zijn enkele gezellige cafeetjes in de buurt en 2 maal per week is er een marktje. Ondanks dat het huis pal in het centrum van het stadje ligt, genoten we toch van de stilte en de rust in de buurt. Het contact met de eigenaren was vlot en aangenaam. Het huis is prima uitgerust om grote gezelschappen/gezinnen te ontvangen. Een goed uitgeruste keuken met ruim voldoende kookgerei en servies. Er waren genoeg handdoeken en beddengoed voorhanden. De eigenaren hebben veel informatie voorzien over activiteiten, uitstappen en wandelingen in de buurt. We hadden hierdoor een leuke vakantie in deze prachtige streek. Een echte aanrader!

Tolles altes Haus mitten in Sigean

Sehr großes und großzügig geschnittenes altes Haus mitten in einem typischen Wohnquartier innerhalb eines Ortes, der nicht besonders touristisch ist. Wir haben uns im Haus vor allem in dem traumhaften Hof, der vollkommene Privatsphäre garantiert, sowie in der Küche und dem angrenzenden Esszimmer aufgehalten. Die Landschaft ist abwechslungsreich und wunderschön. In der Gegend sind Fahrradtouren möglich (z.B. am Canal de la Robine oder zu den Etangs), die Küste ist abwechslungsreich, man kann toll baden. Auch das Hinterland ist einen Ausflug zu den Burgen und kleinen Ortschaften wert. Gerne wieder.

Tres bien

2eme sejour dans cette grande maison. Le contact est parfait. Toujours tres bien. Nous apprecions le jardin, la fraicheur de cette vieille batisse quand il fait chaud. Nous aimons aussi les 4 chambres dans cette période de necessaire distanciation sociale. Nous reviendrons volontier

Vaste maison de ville

Nous avons passé un bon sejour dans cette grande maison. La maison est difficile a chauffer et les propriétaires nous ont donné du bois. Cependant nous conseillons de louer cette maison en ete.Le contact avec les propriétaires a ete parfait.

Ferien mitten in Sigean in einem Haus mit Charme und Charakter! Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend! Vom belebten Strassenkaffee um die Ecke mitten im Herzen des Ortes, am Strand von La Palme wo der nächste Sonnenanbeter meterweit entfernt liegt, geschichtsträchtige Städte wie Narbonne oder Perpignon, für alle Geschmäcker ist etwas dabei und man kann sich bei jedem Wetter vertun! Rundum schöne Ferien! Danke, dass es Menschen gibt die in Ferienhäuser investieren! Herzlichst Susann

Jolie maison

C'est une jolie maison qui est mise à disposition, on peut se stationner sans problème , le propriétaire arrangeant, la cour très agréable et les chiens bienvenus. Il faut cependant noter que le point faible de cette location est la literie, nous étions 8 à la maison durant deux jours et avons dû utiliser des matelas très poussiéreux, dont l'un en laine, je pense, est complètement défoncé, de plus aucun des matelas n'est protégé par une alèse ce qui est discutable; les deux chambres , sans doute moins utilisées que d’habitude sentaient la poussière. Les sols dans la maison et les sanitaires étaient propres.

It was like stepping back into old France! The property had huge character and charm.

The property suited our needs. It was in a great location from which to explore the area. Great beaches nearby and a short walk to restaurants, bars and shops that were friendly and welcoming.

charmantes altes französisches Gemäuer mit Liebe renoviert

Das Haus entspricht exakt der Beschreibung des Inserats. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und hat einen wunderschönen Innenhof , in dem man sich zwischen blühendem Oleander und anderen Pflanzen herrlich erholen kann. Der Vermieter ist sehr korrekt und jederzeit ansprechbar. Im Haus liegt ein Ordner, der einem hilft , die schönsten Strände und Ausflugsziele zu finden, in dem aber auch Anweisungen zu finden sind, die das Haus betreffen(z.B. Strom, Wasser,Waschmaschine). Im Haus selbst sind alte Natursteinwände, die herrlich her- vorgehoben worden sind. Ich würde das Haus jedem , der alte Häuser mag , empfehlen, aber auch gerne selbst wieder dort Urlaub machen.
