About this property
Pinnacles Ranch - Closest to the Park (2 miles to East Entrance)
This hillside single-story home overlooks the Pinnacles National Park and surrounding ranch land. It's close to the Bay Area but feels remote & worlds apart. Come experience rural and wild California in a comfortable home. I'm an experienced host on Airbnb but new to VRBO. You can see my listing and reviews here: www.pinnaclesranch.com
The house includes: - Large kitchen - Large dining table - Open floor plan between kitchen, dining room and living area - Bedroom #1 with 1 queen bed - Bedroom #2 with 2 twin beds - Living area with 2 couches that can be converted to futon beds - Bathroom with combination shower and bathtub - Outside, there is a large patio with propane BBQ, bar area and outdoor furniture Guest access: The house is set on a 200 acre ranch, and guests are welcome to take walks around the property. There are some amazing views of the Pinnacles as well as the Diablo Mountain range from various places on the property. (NOTE: Access to the house requires a smartphone and registration with the AugustHome app.) Inside the house, guests have access to the Kitchen, Dining Area, Family Room, 2 Bedrooms and 1 Bathroom. Guests are locked out from private areas and do not have access to the garage, mudroom and owner's bedroom. Other things to note: The home is near the Pinnacles National Park (just 2 miles from the east side entrance) but very remote from other services, which is part of what makes the area so special. It's so close to the bay area and yet feels worlds apart. Pinnacles Ranch is a place to unplug and explore the wilderness of the national park or the rural lifestyle of surrounding ranches.
The nearest store, restaurant or gas station is about 30 miles away so guests should plan ahead and bring the things they will need during their stay (e.g., food, cooking supplies, toiletries, etc.). NOTE: Hollister to the north and King City to the south provide the nearest services. Be sure to stock up before your arrival.
Also, please note that there is no cell phone access in the area. However, the ranch house has a landline phone and a wi-fi network that guests can use. There is also no broadcast TV or cable TV service, but the house has a smart TV monitor that can be used to stream and a Blu-ray DVD player that can be used for movies if guests want to bring their own DVDs.

This is a great place and the host was amazing. We had an issue with the water and he took care of it right away. The ranch property is beautiful and in a super location. The home is welcoming and comfortable.

Thanks for being great guests. I’m sorry there was a problem with my well/tank system, but I’m glad my ranch hand was able to fix it pretty quickly. Happy New Year!
The ranch is beautiful and peaceful. We picked it because it was so close to the National Park entrance and that worked out so well for us to go hiking everyday. The house has everything you could need. David is very attentive and helpful. We would definitely come back again!
Pinnacles Ranch is perfect for a visit to Pinnacles National Park. It is minutes from the east entrance. Also the house is well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay again!
The home was amazing. Beautiful scenery, quiet and near the park. We wish we were able to experience more of the property. This is probably one of the best places that we have stayed. Loved it!!
Perfect place to stay for hiking in Pinnacles National Park
The property is just 2 miles from the Pinnacles entrance and remote enough to enjoy the stars and quiet of the countryside, but still modern enough to be a comfortable stay. Would definitely come back here again.
The VRBO host, David, was very thorough. His communication was impeccable. The description of the property was accurate and as expected. The property provided everything you expect the vacation home to have. (Towels, sheets, cookware, cups and plates, and cooking knives that are sharp) We really enjoyed the quietness of the property) I would love to go back bringing my friends.
The property is beautifula and serene. Loved its proximity to Pinnacles National Park, as well as the ability to see so many stars at night. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed using the large kitchen to prepare meals. We had an awesome stay.

Highly recommended for those who love to be in a quiet place close to nature. Clean and well-maintained. A very nice location for a short retreat or a weekend getaway.
Perfect location for visiting Pinnacles National Park
We stayed at Pinnacles Ranch for 2 nights during our visit to the National Park. It was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the common spaces were great and the bedrooms were large and had comfy beds. Loved the vibe of the house and would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It's a beautiful area and the ranch provided a space to bird watch, gaze at the stars, and sit on the porch as the sun was rising with coffee in hand. The ranch was very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Would book again.
The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The communication with the host was excellent. The location is perfect for visiting Pinnacles through the East entrance.
The property was very remote and a great place to relax. The living room and kitchen were large and great to use as a gathering space. The outdoor patio was also a great place to sit and listen to the birds and watch the hummingbirds. Beds were very comfortable. Overall this was a great getaway place!
Great location for hiking day trips to Pinnacles National Park! It’s close by and we didn’t feel rushed even when we slept in late! The house is comfortable and was well stocked kitchen. We loved all the family games and foosball table! The WiFi is spotty but worked well enough. Great stay overall!

Serene country ranch. Large common space for socializing. Super accessible to Pinnacles East entrance.
This place is fantastic! It has room for a lot of people, but it was perfect for just my husband and myself. It really is just a couple of miles from the park entrance. It had everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean. We would definitely refer this home to our friends.
This was the most wonderful place to stay especially if you are visiting Pinnacles National Park. Not only is it only two miles from the entrance, which allowed us an early entrance avoiding the crowds, it is a very lovely house that is even better than the photos show. We really enjoyed the quiet, the scenery and the comfort of the house. Thank you for making the house available.
The home is very clean and comfortable. Beautiful ranch and vistas and so convenient to the East entrance of Pinnacles. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy the very nice patio space as the weather was quite cool and wet when we were there. We did enjoy some bird watching while there and the fabulous views of the Pinnacles

Property was a nice, quiet getaway with easy access to the east entrance to Pinnacles National Park. House had a large kitchen for preparing meals. This was a necessity as closest town is 30 miles away.
