Three bedrooms (super comfy new mattresses). Queen, King & Single, Single beds w/ pullout couch. Hot tub, Koi Pond, Grill, Full Kitchen, coffee, washer/dryer, free parking.

No Hot Tub use after 10pm

Additional 1 bedroom apartment available to guests renting this apartment.

No Smoking.

Love having French Press Coffee on Adirondack Chairs by the Koipond, reading/sunbathing on the back patio by the hot-tub, or grilling on the guest patio.

Easily walkable to downtown pedestrian mall. Walk to the best restaurants. Bakery, Coffee Shops, and Market just two long blocks away. 1 guest space directly outside the door and unlimited public parking on the street in front of the house.

No Hot Tub use after 10pm

Big Trees, beautiful historic homes and right beside the downtown mall. Quiet north downtown location of this home is a 10 and the neighborhood is a lot of fun to walk.

Parking directly in front of apartment door on weekends for up to 2 cars and week days for 1 car. Across the street, In front of the house, available all times but open to general public (though usually easy to get a space)

Wonderful stay with my son and his girlfriend. Easy walking distance to the Mall. No issues with parking. The owners who live upstairs were very accomodating as was the property manager Carla. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Charlottesville.

The place was very clean* & well located. The beds were comfortable. It was very hot out and the temp- controlled from the main house- was cool. There was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and TP. The gardens around the stately house were lovely and well kept. There were plenty of outlets and the hosts had put in USB ports. I don’t like to leave poor reviews; in checking my profile I see I have done this very rarely, but I was misled by the number of strong reviews on this place. Having been badgered over and over to review, this is the other side of the coin: The tiny (pretty) kitchen didn’t even have a can opener, there was no space to store food we wanted to prepare, there was a nearly empty roll of paper towels and no replacements (we were told to check the laundry room, where there were none), a small piece of the bathroom floor came off on my foot, it had been so poorly floored. There was 1 single towel clean and ready for (the three of) us-I had to wash a batch from the massive wet load on the floor of the laundry room 2nd morning. Most significantly, the furniture in the living/dining room would have been embarrassed to be found in a frat house. Couch was frayed, lumpy, uncomfortable in the extreme, covered by an ill-fitting sheet. *Couch throw pillows dirty. Dining table/chairs cheap and hard, and would not have had space for more than three, and tight at that. I really wanted to like this pretty, well-located rental but the living areas were deal breakers.

Stately Neighborhood

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Clean and convenient location. Sits in a beautiful neighborhood with grand old homes. Our only nits are lack of local television availability, and the distance to the downtown pedestrian mall. While close, it’s a bit longer than the 2 block description, which mattered since we had 2 elderly guests.

Why they chose this property

This home is truly and conveniently walkable to the best restaurants in town. Quite neighborhood with huge trees and historic home to explore on your walk. From city center it's a short trip to Vineyards, History (Monticello, Montpellier, etc), UVa, Shenandoah National Park.

Be a traveler - not a tourist. This home gives the feel of living downtown and being part of the neighborhood. The Koi Pond in front and the hot tub and backyard in the back allows for luxury relaxing and a quick walk to bakeries, coffee shops and the best restaurants.

What makes this property unique

Park Street is the gem of Charlottesville. Location, beauty, nature and lot sizes. One of the first homes on the street when it changes from commercial to residential. Other properties say that they are walkable to the mall, but they might be saying 3/4 of a mile to 1&1/2 miles. Here, we are just 2 long blocks to the mall. The Front and Back outdoor spaces allow relaxation and integration into the community.
