About this property
Cozy House on the Hill-Flexible Term for Traveling Professionals
Flexible-Term housing designed for insurance claimants and traveling professionals are welcome. Minutes from Prisma Health Hospital. We bought this house in 2016 and it is completely renovated. The hardwood floors are the only original feature left in the home. Everything is new and ready to enjoy. Both bedrooms have their own full bath, and the common room, including the kitchen, spans the length of the house. Both bedrooms have access to the wrap around deck through sliding doors.

About the host
Hosted by Brian Thomsen
Teresa is a mortgage loan officer and Brian is a home remodeler. We wanted to make this home exceptional and we started the renovation in the summer of 2020. Home was designed for traveling professionals and insurance claimants with flexible-term in mind.
Why they chose this property
The house on the hill, as our kids call it, is part of six homes built by the same family back in the 50s. This one had escaped many of the damages so many homes get over time and was an excellent candidate for a full remodel. The structure of the house enabled the ceilings to be vaulted creating a 16-foot peak at the center of the house shared by all rooms. The entire back of the yard was graded away to make room for a deck that spans the length of the house.
What makes this property unique
House on the hill has very high ceilings. The ceilings give the home a great feeling of spaciousness. Large fans and high placed ceiling lights also add to the expansiveness of the home. There are large windows in every room allowing for lots of natural light. Blinds or curtains on the windows are there for privacy.
