Very nice property.
We all enjoyed our stay. It is a really big property with lots of space. The boat dock was a lot of fun, just wish the water taps worked for cleaning our fish. Over-all the whole family liked and enjoyed our stay.

Summer’s Over Relaxation Trip
This property was absolutely perfect for an end of summer family vacation! Beautiful, spacious home, with everything in it you could possibly need! The house was very clean when we arrived, linens are provided, beds were made and all of them extremely comfortable. The location on the lake is ideal. The water is deep enough for a good swim, but shallow enough in places for the little ones to play. There are so many great places to sit and watch the water and the boats go by - the upper porch, complete with a relaxing swing, the upper sun deck of the dock, and of course, on the dock itself. We tied our boat up to the front of the dock so it was always convenient for a ride or some tubing fun. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely rent this home again.

Awesome 4th of July Week
Our family had a fun and relaxing week of swimming in the super clean water off of the dock, fishing…we lost track of how many fish were caught, sitting on the beautiful dock, boating and tubing, all getting into the kitchen and cooking together and having everything we needed, game nights and great sleeping in the comfy beds! This house is exceptionally appointed. Soft sheets already on the beds, bath towels and washcloths, each bathroom has shampoo and conditioner….if you forget something it’s probably already there! Most of us barely left the property and another part of our family was nearby and loved our dock and swimming and fishing, so they visited often. Ken was an excellent manager/owner and was very gracious about a toilet incident that never should have happened….let’s just all remind our kids that worms and the mulch they come in should never be flushed. Don’t hesitate to rent this wonderful home….you won’t ever want to go anywhere else! Terry

“The Lake” - The Peaceful Place
This is our second time at this beautiful home. It was once again a perfect place for our family gathering. The comfortable beds were made ahead of our arrival - fresh and clean - and a large bin of bathroom towels were ready for use. I’d forgotten how well stocked the kitchen was - all spices and basic pantry items were available as needed. As for the dock - The new bumpers accommodated our 22ft boat, the height of the lower level was great for our grandchildren - they jumped and swam for hours (7, 5, and 4 yrs old), and the upper deck is a lovely spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails and contemplation. This is a house that we would love to visit regularly.

We recently purchased this lake house. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have already. This is our first year renting, so we would appreciate any feedback on how we can make our home more inviting.

Why they chose this property

It's a great spot on the NE quadrant. There is not a ton around Lake Gaston, but we are conveniently located near the main intersection of Elam Rd and River Rd. Grocery, restaurants, ABC, mini-golf, ice-cream, weekend farm stand / flea market.

The inlet is a nice size for taking a spin around kayaks and paddleboards, but is small enough to keep wake-boarding / tubers out on the main lake.

What makes this property unique

The small beach entry into the lake and gentle slope for make it great for little kids to wade in. The water at the end of the dock is about 7' deep and quickly drops from there.
