I prepaid for 30 nights here, I left after approximately 24 hours. There were issues such as the unit not being clean on arrival (dead bugs, damage to the blinds, holes in the master closet wall, cobwebs, dust under the TV and tables in the bedrooms, the laundry room door fell off it's hinges, the kitchen floor was uneven, no remotes for the TVs, etc.) The owner did send the maintenance man and cleaning lady the next day. But the main reason I left is because there was a weird odor coming from the downstairs bathroom sink. The more the heat was on, the worst the smell. I was having an allergic reaction to something in the house, my throat was sore and I had a headache. I contacted the owner about the smell, she adamantly denied having mold, said she checked the unit herself. She also said she has been renting this unit for 5 years and no one had complained before. She then told me, I probably had COVID. As soon as I went to a hotel my sore throat and headache were gone. That tells me, the problem was the place I was staying. In my opinion, if someone has a problem, they have a problem. Do not make excuses about previous tenants and not having problems before. I asked several times for a refund since I only stayed ONE night. SHE REFUSED TO REFUND ME ANY MONEY. I had paid for 30 nights, total waste of my money. I requested a refund again and VRBO requested she refund me, she has not done so.
