About this property

WOW VIEWS! Master on 1st floor. Private bedrooms w/ full baths & lake views

The kitchen is our favorite room! You get the feeling you are right on top of the lake. Check out our second lake house right next door by googling vrbo #419921.
Our third lake house is smaller and in Captain Ron's no wake cove- #307958.
Terrific Lake View from the kitchen, great room, family room, game room, bar, both covered decks and 4 of the bedrooms! Large comfortable lake home allows you to spread out and enjoy your family! Family entertainment area with a pool table, card table fireplace, TV and wet bar. Dock with a very large swim platform, diving platform and good fishing! Double car garage for guest use. All 4 of the bedrooms are separated inside the lake house for privacy. Three with private bathrooms and the fourth bedroom has a full bathroom just outside the door. Two wood burning fireplaces and an outside fire ring.
Within a mile or two: convenience store with gas, liquor store, bait shop, many restaurants and a dollar general store. The new Wood's super-store is less than a 10 min drive and is a great grocery store with many departments!

Here’s how our stay began. Windows were completely filthy with bugs and webs. That’s where I started cleaning so I could see the beautiful views. Carpets were stained and terribly dirty, our feet and grandkids feet were black on the bottoms from the dirty carpets. I told my husband there was no way we were staying without getting a carpet cleaner so I could clean the floors on all three levels. So he said no way but we did. Each took 3 washings. I spent a day and a half cleaning this house which also included the floors in kitchen and bathrooms. Couches on main floor were both ripped and the ceilings had plaster hanging down from them in several areas from leaks prior to our arrival which should have been fixed before renting. I have pictures of these problems also. We were not happy when we arrived because of the conditions. My husband will also be responding to you as he is currently in meetings.

This guest was the first and only to lose their entire security deposit. I believe the children's feet were black from dirt because we had to wash dozens of black footprints off our walls. We have 3 damaged kitchen chairs. We had to throw away multiple bedding sets. The dishwasher is damaged and awaiting a service call- it was full of broken wine glasses. Our carpets are not new (we plan to replace this off-season) however, never in the history of VRBO has a Guest gone out and rented a carpet cleaning machine- and actually cleaned the carpets- without giving the host an earful. We heard nothing until we captured the security deposit. Our lake house was clean on their arrival and thanks to a lot of hard work and a terrific Housekeeping team- our lake house will be ready for our next guest- with 3 less chairs and awaiting a dishwasher repair service call.

Everything about Randy’s VRBO was great. This was our families 3rd stay at one of Randy’s houses. First, time at this one. Everything was clean, and kitchen supplied with all the necessities. Randy was easy to contact. Every room in the house has a beautiful lake view. The upper deck was partially covered. So even on the rainy days, we could still sit on the deck and grill out. We will definitely be planning to come back and stay at Randy’s VRBO at the lake a 4th time.

Beautiful lake view from all three levels. Kitchen well stocked. Had a fancy cook top that was easy-to-use. Wood fireplace was large and kept the place warm. Families can definitely enjoy this place in the summer with the lake access with boats for rent.
