Nice property, excellent location
Great location, uphill from the main strip and very walkable, nice in the morning and evening. Property was very clean and had a nice stock of tea and coffee. Very comfortable set up at the house. Only complaint is that the sheets were made of a strange material, slick and uncomfortable which made sleeping difficult.

The best choice
It is an excellent option to spend a few days in Mariposa. The house has everything you need, you do not worry about anything. The hosts know how to make you feel what a guest needs. The whole house very clean and tidy.

Excellent VRBO Close to Yosemite
This VRBO was fantastic. It's only an hour to the valley floor in Yosemite and 3 minutes away from several Mariposa restaurants/stores. Michael was always prompt with communication when I had a question or request. The house was so thoughtfully designed with easy check in/check out and signage; everything was spotlessly clean; the beds were comfortable; the bathroom was updated; and this had the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen as far as rental homes go. We had everything we needed. And Michael even left a hand written welcome note for us on arrival. Could not ask for anything more. 5 stars would stay here again.

Overall an exceptional stay and some clarity
Our overall stay was very good and a few items of clarity are needed. Firstly the property was as advertised and excellent. Its a beautiful small home with a phenomenal kitchen and bathrooms. These had recently been remodeled and were done at a high level. The bedrooms were very good with a high level of control of the temp and cleanliness! It was very close to downtown, within a few blocks, and very convenient for all needs during our stay. The operator provided excellent communication and was readily available to take care of any issues and concerns. We reached out a few times, and he was responsive and very helpful. I think a co-owner lives on the property with two dogs. She was a delightful person and very kind to talk to us when she happened to walk by. There are a few areas of clarity that are needed that I feel were slightly misleading in the description of the property. The first is there are two other houses on this property. The listing makes it seem this house is on its own and isolated. The two other houses are occupied as one is the co-owner of the property and other house was visited twice while we were there. Also the drive way is used quite often as a turnaround by other people in the town so some traffic is present. Secondly, the "wildlife preserve" is merely a hill across the driveway and you do have another house across the street that has a garbage area in the visible vicinity. These are just clarifications and minor downfalls in the experience of this property. Again, it was an exceptional experience and we appreciated 99% of the experience we had! Thank you to the owner for a wonderful stay and experience.
