Rather large place exactly 1 hr from Yosemite Village centre. Very spacious kitchen with a ton of cooking supplies, and living area had tons of seating area. There was also plenty of beds, but they aren’t the most comfortable.
Overall good location if you’re staying with a big group near Yosemite that isn’t exactly in the park where prices are more expensive
Great place overall. Only a few issues. The driveway is very rough. I have a SUV so it was okay but a lower car could run into some issues. The beds and couches were pretty uncomfortable. Usually when I’m picking a place to stay, I consider it as a place to rest in between adventures so comfort is important. Definitely a step up from camping though lol. Also, there is a grill, but there is no propane which makes things difficult for those coming from out of state.

Great Midpines house closer to Yosemite Valley than Oakhurst!
I was a little nervous about this house because, on the map it looks to be in the middle of nowhere but with the help of my GPS I found it easily even in the middle of the night. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to Mariposa, not far off Hwy 140. It's a bit of a drive to Yosemite Valley, but Hwy 140 runs much faster than Hwy 41 so it's a time-saver when compared to Oakhurst.
Our group of four agreed the house was spacious, clean, and comfortable but our stay was interrupted by one of us having a medical emergency and, more importantly, evacuation because of the Detwiler fire that, at the time of this writing (40% containment), had burned 75,000 acres of forest and 58 homes.
Owner, "Jin" was concerned about the fire and went above & beyond to assure we were safe. I won't go into detail but Jin's quick and decisive actions were generous and heroic.
I look forward to another stay in the near future during less hectic times.

Exactly what we needed
We needed one additional night before heading into Yosemite. This was a great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable, though sparsely decorated. Very quiet and remote, but close enough to town that it was easy to go in for dinner. Thanks!

Great stay just outside Yosemite
It was a nice house in a very secluded location. Plenty of sleeping options and very open. I enjoyed my stay.

Nice place to stay
We really liked the property. Plenty of room for our family of five. Contained most of esssentials for cooking ourselves. Beds comfortable. The property is about 30 miles away from the Yosemite village, which we found very convenient. We wanted to be close by so we did not have to drive a long way every day. If you need something from a store, there is a larger town 7 miles away.
