Visit Lake Wallenpaupack and to immerse yourself with everything that lake life has to offer. Have large dinners with your family or friends around the large dining room table. Get cozy sitting around the 2 fireplaces in the home or the outdoor fire pit! Then end the evening playing from our large selection of board games, foosball, or the poker table. Sit by the babbling brook and read a book. The house has 2 AC window units not central air.

Plenty of activities nearby hiking trails, boat launch, breweries, ski trails, boat rentals, swimming, and more!

Please Note:
Guest have access to everything on our property that is not locked, and we kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and community.

Any loud noises & music, fireworks, and hunting are prohibited.

Quiet hours begin at 10pm.

Guests do not have access to Shandy Shore/Locust Grove boat ramp or docks.
Boats/jet skis must be launched at the public marinas. Capri Marina is 1/2 mile from the home.

Met our needs

Clean, roomy with great babbling Brook next to house. Able to spread out in many comfortable rooms. Driveway steep to road and some cars scraped going in and out.

Group of friends getaway ends early

Property was okay. Ac units where pathetic with only two floor units and cardboard that had the windows half open already let bugs/bees in. The. Complaints from the neighbor due to having fire and music. Rented for three days but ended up having the landlord call and confirm any issues the neighbor complain about the first day. We were on Same page until we got back to rental for day when then informed us that we must pack up everything we brought and leave within the next hour. So only got to stay one of the three nights. Extremely disappointed with no return on other two nights. Communition was poor and inconsistent between the couple that rented to us and would not recommend this location for anyone that is looking to enjoy a weekend away.

We thought the situation was handled after addressing the 3am noise complaints from the neighbor. Then we learned the guests were using a small hose connected to a propane tank to create massive bursts of flames in the fire pit. Thankfully no one was hurt.

The main floor of the property is quite spacious, with a large dining room and kitchen table area for meals. When you stand in the middle of the main floor, with all the windows, you almost feel nestled among the out doors. Nice porch sitting areas. We luved just sitting around and talking.

Weekend away

We booked this property as a place to stay while finalizing our wedding plans for the spring! It was well equipped, spacious for our party of 7 and perfect spot for deer watching! We had a whole herd of deer come through one morning, there were about 20 of them! Our only negative to the space was that it took almost a half day to warm up from the 55 degrees the house is kept at. We had three older family members with us and they had to keep their coats on the first night we were there. The temperature became comfortable for them by the following afternoon. Overall this was a great spot to stay!

Family Friendly Fun

My family and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday in this home. It was very spacious. There was ample space for us to enjoy each other’s company and still have private space to unwind. There were enough bathrooms, which is very important for large group gatherings. We felt safe and secure in the home. It was warm and cozy. The TVs and the WiFi worked fine. The kitchen was well equipped. There were enough linens and lots of sleeping options. Kasey and Steven were only a phone call away. We recommend this home. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for hosting us.

Great home near the lake

Beautiful home, fun experience, cleanliness was not up to par, tvs had issues, but overall the house it self was great.
