Charming Cottage on Lily Pond in Center of Town

This elegant rose-covered home is in the historic district, one block from the Oldest House, walking distance to Children's Beach, Brant Point, & Jetties Beach, and the center of town. It is located on a secluded site which borders the Lily Pond, and has its own off-street parking.

The main entrance opens onto a dining area and kitchen with a cathedral ceiling. The fully-equipped food preparation area includes blender, garbage disposal, dishwasher, electric cooktop and oven, microwave, and large refrigerator/freezer with automatic ice maker. The 500-square-foot living room has parquet floors, fireplace, desk area, and sliding glass doors which open on a 25-foot redwood deck. The powder room and the laundry adjoin the spacious living area.

Upstairs, the central hall opens on two bedrooms, one with twin beds, and the other with a queen-sized bed. Contemporary lighting and spacious closets are features of both rooms. The bathroom has a modern tub and shower, overhead infra-red heaters, and a large linen closet.

Comfortable convenient and close to everything

Only steps away from downtown and a short walk to Jetty's beach, this was the perfect place for a week on Nantucket with a family of four.

Lovely cottage in great location.

The cottage is so cute and very roomy. The location is great - an easy walk to town. The check in process was so simple with our own door code for access. The cottage has everything you need - beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and cooler - for nice days at the beach. We enjoyed it very much!

The cottage was excellent. It had everything we were looking for. It was a 6 minute walk into town. The house has a great outdoor back patio for morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable and the main bathroom is perfect and updated. Katharine was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. The house is a block away from American Seasons, one of our favorites.

Private oasis walk to town

This is a very cute cottage tucked away with lots of privacy even though it sits behind another house. It abuts nature and has a lovely private deck. A short walk and you’re town. A short drive (or 20 min walk) and you’re at Jetties. Comfortable and cozy. Everything you need. Reasonable appointments for a weekly rental. Would highly recommend!

We stayed for a week and it was perfect! The cottage is tucked away off the street with a nice deck looking out over lush green foliage. We spent most of out time on the deck! The location is a short walk to town yet very quiet. We rented bikes for our visit and easily accessed Steps Beach for swimming and multiple bike paths for sight seeing. There is no air conditioning but it cooled off in the evening and there were plenty of fans. Katharine is exceptionally responsive and helpful.

Just what we hoped for

The cottage is lovely. It’s very close to town yet far enough from the road to be very quiet. (Behind the main house). Don’t shop for supplies before you get there. There were plenty of essentials, soaps, detergent, spices, etc, when we got there. Since these are not advertised by the owners, anything you find is a bonus.

Quiet location... convenient to everything!

This was a perfect spot for our vacation. We only had bikes so location was important to us. It is close to the bike trails, a short walk to the beaches and about 3 blocks from town. All the ammenaties were provided and the washer and dryer were a must as we had limited luggage space. Katherine was awesome to work with and I would recommend this property. Be sure to enjoy the quiet deck out back for coffee and cocktails. You will sure to catch the deer prancing through the back yard.

Excellent location! Within walking distance to town, Jetties beach and our favorite sandwich shop (Something Natural)! Very clean, although amenities could have been a little better..... More comfortable beach chairs (only 2), we had 4 people. Ran out of the essentials in the house, although host did provide more.

We loved this cottage and the convenient location. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have a deck as well as a washer and dryer. We’d definitely stay here again when we return to Nantucket.

Quiet location right in Nantucket town

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and nicely decorated and actually a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures. The yard and surrounding area is just beautiful. It seems unique for being so close to town. We highly recommend.
