Private Owner- Moonlight Chalet sits nestled in the prestigious Mountain Preserve Resort in the unforgettable Wears Valley. Offering gorgeous mountain views as far as the eye can see, this 2bd/2ba chalet offers a hot tub, private jetted tub, pool table, and three beautiful decks that will provide you and your loved ones a quiet retreat AWAY from the hustle and bustle of downtown Pigeon Forge.

You will also love the new memory-foam king mattresses and memory-foam sleeper sofa. Moonlight Chalet is perfect for romantic getaways, family retreats, or groups of friends. The kitchen and bathrooms come fully stocked with all necessary utensils and linens, so you won’t have to do anything other than have a good time.

You will enjoy backdoor access to the Great Smoky Mountains / Cade’s Cove via the new Foothills Parkway, a short drive from the chalet. The ascent to the chalet is not to steep, the roads are widely paved, and you will enjoy the beautiful, easy drive the whole way.

If you’re bringing any cubs along with you on your vacation, Moonlight Chalet also offers a loft that’s the perfect size for young adults who would love the adventure of climbing a ladder into a twin-size cloud that is a memory-foam mattress.

Moonlight Chalet Offers spectacular views of Le Mt.LeConte Mountain right from the front deck. While sitting out on the front deck relaxing in the early morning , you can watch the sunrise or enjoy a BBQ as the sun goes down over the mountains and eventually you're under the moonlight and stars.

You will enjoy this quiet, peaceful prestigious Preserve Resort. Moonlight Chalet is conveniently located to the Great Smoky Mountains and Cades Cove in the quiet side of the Smokies.
Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend are just a drive down the mountain. We are away from the hustle and bustle in the Beautiful Mountains. We are Approx. 18 miles from Dollywood!

CABIN-
Guest parking is FREE and easy. No sharing with neighbors. The driveway is plenty big for several cars, golf carts, jeeps, motorcycle
You will have all you need in the cabin, with 4 (4 k Roku) TV's, ranging from 55 ' in the living-room and loft to a 43' TV in the bedroom, pool table, board games, hot-tub under lights and mountains as far as you can see.

Two private bedrooms with New King memory foam mattresses and private bathrooms. One with a private jetted tub.
Loft includes a pull out sofa bed commercial grade with a memory foam mattress.
Those traveling with little cubs to teen cubs they can retreat up the wooded ladder into their private space with a twin memory foam mattress and a chair to relax in. Climb at your own risk!

AIRPORT The McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville is a 30 mile drive to the cabin and is the recommended airport to fly into when your coming into to the Smokies.

- I provide a starter kit for your stay free of charge: toilet paper, paper towels, Keurig-Pods, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing soap, sponge, laundry detergent garbage bags, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Cleaning supplies are also available.

** A baby safety gate is at the cabin if needed **

- ALL linens, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided for your stay. If you need more towels during your stay you will have to wash them in the cabin.

- HIKING-
In the Great Smoky Mountains hiking is endless. There are great family trails to hard trails throughout the mountains. Bring bear spray or a bear horn if hiking in the backwoods. All trails hiking app is amazing.

- FISHING-
Those who like to fish can. Honeysuckle Meadows pool & deli has a year around catch and release fishing pond. (3.1 miles from the cabin)
The outdoor pool and deli are seasonal. (April-Sept)

- PARKING IS FREE: Several cars or trucks can fit in the driveway. A small trailer or RV is capable of fitting in the driveway.

Kym was so wonderful to deal with. She asked how we wanted the property decorated and it did not disappoint! We asked for Christmas decorations and the cabin was very festive! The beds were so comfy, she has thought of literally everything that you might need. Would highly recommend Moonlight Chalet to anyone looking for a cozy cabin with amazing views. Loved the attention to detail the owner provides. Would happily return to this property! And bonus was seeing bears roaming through the neighborhood on Thanksgiving night!

We had a great stay. Kym was an excellent host and we appreciated the many little touches she includes in the cabin. The drive up the mountain can be a little worrisome at night in the rain and fog but otherwise we found it relaxing. We were excited to see bears twice during our stay. The views are incredible and would highly recommend this cabin.

We had a great time at this gorgeous cabin! The mountain views are incredible and the scenery from the back makes you feel like you're in a giant treehouse. The decor is charming and gives the cabin a great cozy feeling that we truly appreciated. The whole rental was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the host is very kind and helpful. We highly recommend!

Beautiful Mountain Getaway with wonderful host!

Kym was a wonderful host. She left us detailed instructions a couple days before check-in and made arriving and getting in easy. She gave us several recommendations for great local grocery/dining and entertainment options. The cabin was very clean with a wonderful location. She provides a lot of the little things and makes it feel like home. The hot tub and game room were so much fun! Would definitely stay again! Great experience! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Totally Relaxing

We had an awesome stay at this calm and quiet place in the woods. Pretty easy to approach and all instructions were promptly provided by Kym before hand. The cabin was neat and fully stocked with all essentials. The kids had a blast in the nice warm hot tub with plenty of toys and puzzles. Adults enjoyed the pool table and awesome views of the forest. A must stay ! Do not miss!

Fabulous cabin

Everything is exactly as described. The host is so helpful and very responsive. The cabin was very clean. There’s a lot of bears in and around the area so be sure to not leave any food out or in your vehicle. We did see a bear trying to get into a neighbor's vehicle.

The cabin was divine! Two adults, two teenagers, and a dog. We all fit comfortably. Not to mention 4 decks on each side of cabin with rockers, wowza! The hot tub was perfect especially with 50 degree temps. The cabin is stocked nicely for your needs. The host provided an amazing guide, read it, it’s well worth it and a huge time saver. Stay here, you won’t regret it. We’ve never slept so well and the quiet serene setting made for a perfect little getaway.

Stunning View!

The cabin was by far the most comfortable place we have ever stayed on vacation. After a long day in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, we couldn’t wait to get “home” to our cabin. It feels private, but not secluded and the view is amazing. The drive up the mountain is pretty and so worth it when you reach the Mountain Preserve. Kym is an excellent and responsive host. She has thought of every detail for the comfort of her guests. So happy we chose to stay here!!

Moonlight Chalet

The first impression walking into our cabin was it felt like home, and for 7 days it was our home. The property is absolutely beautiful and to have the mountain views especially in the fall was breathtaking. The property is located outside of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions but close enough to enjoy them if you so choose. Our host was excellent to work with, and communication with the host (Kym) was outstanding. I highly recommend giving this property your consideration for an amazing vacation. One last thing I would add is to eat at "Grandmother's Kitchen". Just a short trip from the cabin. If you by chance love biscuts and gravy as I do you are in for a treat. We were able to meet "Grandmother" and talk to her.. wonderful lady!!

Bear Country with a view

This cabin is beautiful. My kids loved the loft upstairs in the 2nd bedroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. We didn't really cook in the cabin, but there were tons of necessities for cooking. The only downfall is the distance from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will definitely stay here again though. Also, be aware, this is definitely bear Country as we saw one on the property, if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. Kym was an outstanding host and look forward to renting from her again.

Hello All, I am your host Kym. I was born and raised in California and love the outdoors. After researching mountains to hike in and chasing waterfalls, I discovered TN and the Great Smoky Mountains. I had to visit. I planned a trip and found spots to venture off to. I absolutely loved the beauty that the Smoky Mountains had to offer. I knew this could be my hidden getaway. I eventually purchased a cabin as a vacation getaway, and visit often. I decided to open my cabin up and invite guest to this amazing place in the mountains. I welcome you, and I hope you all enjoy the Smoky Mountains as I do. Take hikes, eat great food, see amazing wildlife, and take a lot of pictures to capture those memories! Sit still in quiet places, hear nature at its best. Have your camera ready at all times. You just never know what you may see.
