Secluded Cabin with Hot Tub - 5 Miles to Woodstock
Our well-equipped cabin sits at the end of a dead-end road on three secluded acres including rolling lawn, woodlands, and a pretty pond. You probably won't hear another car all weekend. Yet we are less than five miles from Woodstock, the cultural center of the Catskills, with its galleries, theaters, festivals, restaurants, concerts, and boutiques.
Maybe you won't get back in your car for your entire stay - you can sit on one of our large decks, or screened-in porch, or soak in the hot tub, and watch deer, wild turkey, (and maybe even a bear) stroll by. Or walk across the road for a hike on hundreds of acres of public land. In the winter, build a fire in the wood stove, or go sledding down our own hill.
Or you might use our home as a comfortable base for all the cultural and recreational activities available in the area - hiking, rafting, skiing, swimming holes, are all nearby.
Wi-fi included. See link below for dozens of more photos.
Lovingly renovated by an artist, and filled with art, the house features lots of large windows, and tons of outdoor deck space.
We're less than two hours from the George Washington Bridge - and there's even a Trailways bus stop about two miles from the house. But once you turn into our driveway, you are in another world of quiet and relaxation.

The perfect fall weekend getaway, secluded but close enough to Woodstock and vicinity. Clean, comfortable house with all of the amenities. Great hot tub. Bedrooms are tight but fine for a short stay. Host was friendly and easily reachable. Highly recommended!
The location was very peaceful. The living area was open to the kitchen and was great for our group. Very good sleeping spaces. Convenient to downtown Woodstock and surrounding activities. Ample parking.
Very cozy cabin and clean. The hot tub was fantastic!! The instructions were very easy to follow and did I mention Woodstock?!?!?
I recommend this lovely cabin to anyone. Michael is a fantastic host and provides some really awesome amenities.
Beautiful location. Very quiet. House is well cared for and the owner is responsive. Convenient to Woodstock and Catskill attractions. Dinner recommendation from the housekeeper for Alba’s Kitchen was outstanding.
Lovely property surrounded by nature. Even more charming in person than in the pictures. Beds were comfortable, wood buring stove kept the cabin cozy, lots of peace and quiet, lovely screened porch and outdoor sitting areas. Definitely plan to return again
Perfect location, country home feel on really nice property
The property was lovely and well maintained with landscaping that fit well with the surroundings. The house layout was perfect for our group of 5 and could easily fit eight comfortably. Michael is very responsive.
We would happily stay again.
We had a wonderful time in this house, which we rented for a weekend at Belleayere. It is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely return.
Great house. Lots of room. Great beds. Great set up. Outside decks could have been blown off etc. Property outside beautiful. Downstairs bathroom had spotty hot water. But only rare wifi connection and no working landline made for isolation that could be unnerving if there was an issue or remote work needed to get done.

Peaceful and Tranquil
It is a perfect place to spend some quality time with people that are close to my husband and I. We enjoyed the warmth inside when it was snowing outside. The hot tub was rejuvenating. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to have a great time during winter holidays. :)
Very nice house, well equipped, clean and furnished. Enjoyed the house very much. The house is uphill quite a bit from the main road, and we had no cell service in the immediate area until we got into town, so be prepared for that. Not a problem if you set up directions with the wifi before leaving the house. But if you're looking for a nice, quiet stay this is a great option.

Revisiting Woodstock
I went to this lovely home for three nights with my family to revisit the area. It was a beautiful home that was accurately depicted in the photos on the website. The grounds were spacious and quite, which was just what we were looking for. The hot tub worked great, the house was clean and while my kids moaned about no TV, it made for some great music listening time. The house had wifi so they were wired up and happy. It was close to the Bearsville Cafe and the town of Woodstock. I would stay in this house again, anytime!
This place is nicer than the pictures are. The beds comfy, a great kitchen, and fabulous indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out. The place is beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the big outdoor table on the screened in patio. It is quiet- except for the birds- and tucked away. I did explore the trail across the road, which was well defined and gains quite a bit of elevation fairly quickly. The instructions for the house were very thorough, although a bit overwhelming. The wifi did keep cutting out, so we did have to reset the modem several times in our two night stay.We visited Opus 40 and downtown Woodstock. The rail trail nearby is also a beautiful place to walk/run/ride bikes.Michael, the host, was communicative ahead of time. I would stay here again if I were in the area with a group.
We had 3 generations of family (5 total). Lots of space for folks to spread out. Incredibly comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Access was somewhat tricky for my 80 plus year old mother but she was able to get in and around the house. Internal stairs are steep but the railing made it doable. Hot tub is roomy! No A/C but windows and ceiling fans made the house comfortable. House instructions are detailed and helpful. Great communication with host. This house is well-loved and a great destination.

Tranquility and Natural Beauty Abound!
Our family of three generations enjoyed every moment of our stay in this comfortable home surrounded by the beauty of its natural setting and amenities. The upstairs presented us with a space to enjoy one another's company or to sit outside on the screened porch and take in the landscape. (Our son fell in love with the hammock and spent a good deal of his "home" time reading in it!). Each bedroom was uniquely designed and provided our individual families with ample space and privacy. The two bathrooms were ideal for this larger group. Towels and bedding were provided.
The owners were very friendly and responsive to our emails. It is obvious that a great deal of work and thoughtful planning have gone into this home. We were extremely pleased by the results of our choice and hope to return again.
Had a great time staying at this property. Enjoyed the hammock in the afternoon and the the hot tub in the evening. We had a few deer visitors during the day as well. It was perfect for a few days in Woodstock.
We rented this house to have a secluded getaway with friends in a cute town in the mountains. We were looking for scenery, peace and quiet, and some great outdoors. We got absolutely everything we wanted! A quaint home with an amazing property was the perfect place to stay. The town of Woodstock is so close and just adorable. I actually tried to book the same house again for June for another birthday but unfortunately it was not available. Definitely recommend.
Location is great, land is beautiful. Rental has a great hot tub and a cool wood burning stove (firewood included which was nice). However, we found that the sheets were seemingly old felt sheets which were not very comfortable. Additionally, the showers had cloth curtains which began to smell after a couple of uses. Finally, if you wanted to use the tv, it's not in a location where you can.
My husband, son and his partner had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. We were able to ski at all 3 local resorts. We also enjoyed some fantastic take out dinners from restaurants in the area. We cooked breakfast every morning and the kitchen had everything we needed for coffee, tea, waffles etc. We would love to return to this terrific house and peaceful location.
Great little house. Has perfect, eclectic Catskills feel to it. Owner super responsive and communicative. Kitchen was well appointed with cookware, dishwater, etc. would stay there again
Idyllic house and setting for fall get-away with family
The house easily accommodated 3 adult couples with both indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. Beautiful views from every window. Sunny deck in front or shady screen porch in the back gave us lots of options for enjoying the big meals we cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. The house is also a short drive away from several beautiful hikes. One of our favorites was just across the street!
With a rustic and arty feel that suggests a cabin, this property is more of a vacation home, fully equipped, furnished and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you'd need for an extended stay, apple and comfortable bedrooms and both bathrooms feature wonderful tile.
But the aspect that really exceeded our expectations was the very beautiful and peaceful setting -- and the raised deck and screened in porch that really connected you to the outdoors and provided great options for hanging out, eating or just quietly enjoying the natural setting. Even better than the pictures. One caveat: while none of the neighboring houses are visible from this cabin, they are in earshot and don't welcome loud outside parting, especially in the later evening. If you'd like more of an outdoor party or celebration setting I'd look for something even more physically secluded. But it was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Easy access to the delights of the town of Woodstock.
Also, be aware that the water scenes in the listing photos aren't really of this property but rather in the general area. The pond in the yard is ornamental. We saw loads of deer and on our last day a good sized bear sauntered through the property on the far side of the pond.
The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We'd love to visit this area again and would definitely want to stay at this cabin.
We were attending a wedding in mt Tremper and choose this home for our family to meet and spend time together. The house was spacious for the 4 couples. Very quiet and very well equipped. The beds were comfy. The back porch was perfect for brunch. A great place to enjoy nature. Very close to the town of Woodstock.
