House has beautiful views of the ocean! Lots of space, everything you should need for a great stay. The deck was very nice to get some sun. Quick drive into Downtown Plymouth. Wifi was finicky, but nice to be offline. Hot tub was usable but a little old. Overall, would definitely stay again!
Lovely lovely stay! Perfect spot for a girls weekend. There’s bedrooms and full bathrooms on all 3 floors, plus ample living space so it didn’t feel over crowded with 9 guests dogs. The back yard space is fenced in and felt safe to allow our dogs come in and out at their pace. The view from the windows and the deck is breathtaking and we spent a great deal of time out on the deck which is right off of the kitchen. It was a lovely and very sunny space. The home is lived-in and has many keepsakes and charming decor. I would love to come back!!

Disappointed
Vegetation overgrowth is ridiculous on the whole property. We didn't even enter the hot tub area. Vines (?) were growing down over the chairs. Also, the two mini-decks were overgrown. I saw what looked like poison ivy along the steps down to the beach but none of us broke out so maybe not. I didn't even attempt the "ladder stairs" down to the beach. So steep! And a long walk to White Horse Beach, no parking pass included in the rental. To top it all off they expected us to wash, dry and fold the towels and put them back where they were found! There wasn't enough time to do that plus I didn't know where they all had come from anyway with all the bedrooms and 12 people. I did good to get them in the dryer. We stripped the beds as asked, we wiped down the kitchen counters, emptied the trash, emptied the refrigerator, loaded the dishwasher and washed the dishes. I didn't sign up to be on the housekeeping crew. And as a friend who is familiar with Cape rentals said "who wants to trust the people who were there before you to do this. Who even knows if they really washed the towels?" We'll let others have this place.

Doris- This review is such a surprise to us.
I do wish you had called during your stay. We would have sent somebody over right away to cut back the overgrowth... if we were aware. Unfortunately, we did not know of this issue until after seeing your negative review. Our apologies. It seems that the landscaper was not doing his job this summer. The owner has now fired him and is hiring someone else this week, so this won't happen again. We do ask people to remove their food from the refrigerator and take out the trash. That is true. If possible, it is helpful to the cleaning staff to get the towels going - but if you had called; I would have told you not to worry if you couldn't get them laundered. The house is on a cliff overlooking the ocean - beautiful views- but also a long set of stairs down to the beach. If you are disabled or can not navigate stairs, I can understand why this would be a problem. However, it does clearly say in the listing that there is a long set of stairs to the beach and has pictures of the stairs. We are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay and hope, if you ever stay at one of our vacation rentals again -and are disappointed by something that is fixable- that you would call us and give us the opportunity to make it right for you. Our goal is to help all our guests have a wonderful vacation and we will always do what we can to make that possible.

Once in a lifetime whale experience on Manomet Point...
The house, itself, was more beautiful in person. The deck was, by far, the best feature of the house and where we spent the majority of our stay. The view of the ocean was absolutely amazing. We were able to see a variety of incredible wildlife from the comfort of our deck including humpback whales breaching the ocean surface, as well as a symphony of seals playing and sunbathing right in front of our deck. The stairs to the private beach are much less intimidating in person. We spent a lot of time on the private beach, it was great for searching for sea-glass, shells, rocks, even just for cooling off your feet in the water. The Whitehorse beach, just a short walk down the road, was wonderful for beach days (swimming and playing in the sand). We would definitely enjoy staying here again!

Why they chose this property
Spectacular views of a beautiful coastline. Enjoy the seabirds and seals lounging on the rocks and a pristine private beach with a nice sandy area for lounging on ( except at full high tide). This house is next store to the Lobster Pound ( open seasonally) for excellent take-out seafood. White horse beach is just around the corner as well and there is an Audubon Sanctuary down the street. Plymouth is a short drive from Boston. Avoid the traffic of getting on Cape on the weekend when you stay at this lovely beach house. You can do day trips to local Plymouth hotspots or Cape Cod during the week to supplement your peaceful stay at this beachfront home.
