The cabin was everything as advertised! Clean, cozy and private...beautiful setting with the hot tub on the back deck area. The pictures of the renovation in the host's welcome book were fun to see, they really did a great job with this place. Would definitely return again!
Everything was perfect! The setting is gorgeous and very quiet and peaceful! The cabin is decorated beautifully and is immaculate! The host is so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed ! We would love to return -it is another happy place for us!
Everything was perfect. Great quiet location. Very clean. The hosts answered any questions I had. It was a fantastic weekend getaway for the 2 of us. The property was beautiful.
It was very peaceful and relaxing. Everything that was talked about this place is true. Was very clean and refreshing. Very well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Over all had a fantastic time wish it did t end. We will be coming back, hopefully for are one year wedding anniversary!!
Sweet, clean and beautifully decorated. The location was amazing, the hot tub was relaxing. The host left lots of board games and cards to play for indoor time and even left us some farm fresh eggs to make for breakfast, a little snack basket and coffee, which went well with the rocking chair and a book on the front porch. We had the best time in this little cabin in the woods!
We enjoyed our stay at the Salt Creek Cabin! It rained most our trip, which kept us from exploring the property but we stayed busy with the many games included in the cabin. A bit snug, but an enjoyable, peaceful cabin for sure!
This was the perfect weekend getaway for celebrating my boyfriend’s belated birthday. While it’s a bit of a drive to hocking hills, the price and amenities were worth the further drive. Jen and Derick were excellent hosts- leaving us firewood and farm fresh eggs. We hope to come back!
I booked this property as a birthday gift and it was everything we had hoped for! It was nice have a kitchen that was large enough to actually cook dinner in. Plus the view was amazing off the back patio. We would love to come back again!
Visited for the weekend and explored Hocking hills. Very nice cabin, scenic river view, and all around great experience! Hot tub was awesome and the house was very clean and cozy. The electric fireplace was perfect for this time of year.
Quaint, mostly secluded cabin. Very clean. The hot tub is wonderful, with a beautiful view day or night. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing, quiet getaway.
Overall I couldn’t be happier of where we picked to stay for our getaway weekend. Felt like home while we were there especially with the personalized note and farm fresh eggs. Only had one minor issue with the hot tub and as soon as we messaged the host they were very quick to come out and get it fixed for us. It was truly a blessing to come stay and be able to relax and recoup for a couple days. Thank you guys for having us
We enjoyed our time at Salt Creek Cabin. We loved South Point Look Out Trail, but it was well over 30 minutes away. Had a kids trail, very unique.
Host suggested games for kiddos, much appreciated!

Seamless process. We live less than a hour away and the drive was beautiful! I can only believe the property is gorgeous in the fall. Will definitely recommend.
It was very relaxing..the biggest issue was the tv reception and the bedroom..had to crawl out the end to get out to use restroom...other than that it was great
This cabin is fantastic. It provided the peace, quiet and privacy needed for a relaxing weekend. We (and most of the surrounding area) lost power for a bit after a strong storm and high winds came through, but Jen and Derrick made sure we still had everything we needed. The cabin itself was clean, well appointed, and perfect for a nice weekend away. The back porch and hot tub overlooking the water was awesome! We would absolutely come back.
This cabin was adorable. Fully stocked kitchen with brand new regular-size oven/range and refrigerator. All mechanicals worked perfectly. No issues with the WiFi or TV. The bedroom window A/C kept the whole cabin cool during some hot days in the high 80’s. The cabin is in a quiet rural setting with a meadow in the front (where we saw foxes, deer and fawns) and mature woods and meandering creek in the back. The woods were filled with many unique and varied birds with their beautiful songs which would make this a birder’s destination. Although we didn’t use the fire pit due to dry conditions, we liked to sit around it at night. We took small trips along scenic byways to Ash Cave, Leo Petroglyphs and Nature Preserve, and nearby Jackson and Chillicothe for local pub food. Kayaking is available nearby which we will do next trip!
