A perfect way to Get Away from it all! We are booking up NOW for Spring/Summer 2026 at Wild Dunes!

***Rents weekly, Sunday to Sunday, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.*** [The Pool is Open Year Round - But Is Not Heated]

This fantastic (and rare) top-floor ocean-front 4BR location is the perfect turnkey vacation spot - a private owner-managed property that is convenient, comfortable and makes a terrific family retreat.

Come relax and play at this 4-bedroom newly updated (2023) Summer House condo! Balcony features fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean from this top floor condominium unit. Enjoy beach time with friends and family with just a short 100-yard walk to the soft sandy beach. Or lounge and relax by the newly renovated pool with stone deck and updated furniture. This comfortable condo overlooks a wide beach where sand dollars and starfish can be found. It also overlooks one of the famous Wild Dunes golf courses (easy walk to WD Links Course).

The ~1800 square foot condominium is completely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and washer/ dryer. Multiple televisions along with complimentary high-speed internet access and Wi-Fi. All linens and bath towels are included - please bring your own beach towels! The condo is professionally cleaned prior to each arrival. Check-in time is at 4pm or later (flexible); check-out is at 10am. No pets or smoking allowed.

This 5th floor unit includes 6 beds in 4 bedrooms, and easily sleeps 8-10. There is a king bed in the master bedroom with en suite bath, and another king bed in second master bedroom with en suite bath. Both master bedrooms feature additional seating as well as ocean/beach-view windows and direct balcony access - you can sleep with the doors open and go to sleep to the sound of crashing waves, wake to the sun and sounds of gulls (or not - pull the blackout blinds and sleep in!).The third bedroom in rear of condo has two double beds (great for 4 kids) with a shared hall bathroom. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds with en suite bathroom. We’ve found this to be a great setup for a group of 3-4 couples, two families of 4-5 each, or a large family with grandparents in tow. The covered balcony (access from 2 master bedrooms and the family room) offers outdoor seating and overlooks both the upgraded swimming pool and the Atlantic Ocean.

Elevator and stair access in close proximity to condo unit and parking location. The entire building exterior was refurbished in 2025 and the Elevator shaft was completely redone and is working great!

Wild Dunes is located 30 minutes from historic Charleston and is an exclusive resort community featuring two nationally acclaimed golf courses, tennis club, shops, bike rentals, the nearby IOP marina, and a variety of programs and activities for adults and children of all ages.

It was a wonderful week following our 60th wedding anniversary celebration. We were joined by our adult children and two adult grandchildren. The owners were very accommodating and helpful whenever needed. We were able to relax, and everyone had their own space. The close proximity to the pool and beach was a plus. The Wild Dunes community, Isle of Palms and nearby Sullivan's Island are great places to vacation and visit. I hope we can go again soon.

We have been coming to wild dunes since before Hugo came. Have stayed in just about every place there. This is the second time we have stayed in Summerhouse. Everything was clean and the family enjoyed themselves.

This condo was perfect for our group of four moms and four teenage girls. It overlooked the pool and the beach. A short walk to the beach was nice. We rented chairs and umbrellas from IOP Beach Chairs which worked out perfectly. We had everything we needed in the condo. There was an issue with the elevator at the time we were there, but that was no fault of the owner and he did everything he could to make it right. I would definitely recommend renting from them.

The four bedrooms and bathrooms helped make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean from the fifth floor. Easy walking distance to the beach. Kids enjoyed the pool as well. We used the outside porch regularly and it was so nice actually hearing the waves from there. We especially appreciated the owners allowing us to use their storage unit on the ground floor so we could drop off and pick up our beach chairs easily. Check in and out was simple. This was a very memorable family vacation.

Summer House Summer Fun

My family (husband, son, daughter and daughter-in-law) have been vacationing in South Carolina beaches the last few years. Nothing compares to our experience at IOP and this establishment. We nearly gave up on this vacation after 2 previous vacations were cancelled due to renovations. The condo was more space than we needed, and was located perfectly to enjoy the ocean view as well as the pool. The description underestimated the view of this oceanfront condo. If you want a quiet place to rest and relax while taking in the ocean experience, this place is a winner. If you want more action it is about a 40 minute drive to Charleston so we drove into the city for a few magnificent meals, shopping and the aquarium. One of the best family vacations in years.

Summer House Unit 510

The condo furnishings and kitchen items are outdated. Furniture appears to be rather old but in good shape. The parking situation during the week of June 27 - July 4 was terrible all day long. Not enough spaces for the condo renters and I had to park 300 yards down the road two nights. Golf carts and other people who did not have parking passes for Summer House were occupying spaces.

Jeff, we were grateful for you alerting us to the parking situation so that security folks could intervene. I know the Fourth is always a busy weekend but this year seemed well beyon normal, even though I know a number of vehicles were ticketed/towed. We apprectiate you giving us the opportunity to work through the issues. And yes, we've had this condo in the family since before Hurricane Hugo! The location and ocean views are a huge highlight, and the size was perfect for our family, especially with two little kids on different sleep schedules. The extra bedrooms and bathrooms made things much easier. The host was also super responsive and had everything we needed, including baby gear (pack 'n play, booster seat, umbrella stroller). It felt very family-friendly and easy to settle into with little ones.The unit is dated and shows some wear, but it was accurately represented in the photos and feels like a well-loved, thoughtfully stocked vacation home with a lot of character. We spent most of our time outside, though, walking the beautiful paths in the resort, searching for shells on the beach, and hanging out at the playground right next door.

This was a girls getaway trip with myself my mom sister and my aunt.

We had an excellent experience staying at this property. Communication with the owner was excellent. My only issue was the pool lights did not come on until 10 PM and it started getting dark at 8 PM. Other than that it was excellent!

2021 Family Christmas in July

We all loved the access and closeness to the beach/ocean. I felt like the space was a little small for 6 adults and 2 children. The balconies were not comfortable nor felt safe for babies. We enjoyed walking the beach and swimming in the pool. The stores were close except the traffic was crazy, but understandable due to a popular vacation spot. We would come back!! Thank you

This is a comfortable condo property that was built in the 80s. We love this property because it is just so easy to get in, get to the beach, get to the pool, and get to Charleston.

What makes this property unique

We like to rent bikes, and rent umbrellas and chairs for the beach. Its such a treat to go to Wild Dunes, as it is beautifully maintained and fairly quiet, great for families and children, and its easy to rest and rejuvenate.
