Camp Greenwood was a comfy and cozy place for our November weekend stay. The cabin is spotless and the photos/description are spot on. The location is ideal, close to many hiking trails, and only a 20 minute drive to Old Forge. We are looking to coming back in the warmer weather to enjoy the area and explore White Lake.
Thanks Dianne!
Our stay at the cabin in Woodgate was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Dianne and Mike are dedicated hosts who prioritize their guests’ comfort and satisfaction. The cabin was thoughtfully outfitted with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, from high-quality amenities to extra touches that made it feel like a home away from home.Dianne and Mike’s communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. They were responsive, helpful, and ensured we had all the information we needed ahead of our arrival. During our stay, we encountered a minor issue with the pellet stove on our last day. However, Dianne and Mike were quick to respond, and they worked closely with us to resolve the situation efficiently and smoothly. Their calm and professional approach in managing the situation really stood out to us.We greatly appreciated the attention to detail and the level of care that Dianne and Mike put into making sure their guests have an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Camp Greenwood is such a cozy cabin, the hosts provided much more than what was expected. The cabin was very clean & the upkeep is well maintained. The only downside of our stay, was the noise from heavy machinery throughout the day. Even with that, we still completely enjoyed our stay and will be planning to return!

We had an amazing experience at Camp Greenwood. We went up for a weekend of snowmobiling. There is a half moon driveway which easily accommodates snowmobiles. The cabin is located near trail C7. It has everything you could possibly need and more; even slippers! These wonderful hosts provided everything from firewood to s’mores supplies and board games. They gave us clear instructions before we arrived for accessing the cabin and amenities, and we had no issues. The cabin was very clean; lovingly decorated and organized. It’s also located in a beautiful wooded area where we saw deer and turkey, and still they have amazing wifi service! Great hosts. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful accommodations with great communication with hosts!

About the host

Hello and welcome! I am excited to have you experience our Suites and Cabin and the surrounding areas! I am married with two children and two glorious granddaughters! I chose to engage in the host business because I enjoy meeting people outside of my immediate circle. I wanted to give those traveling a place to stay that I would enjoy. I can't imagine life without my family, the fresh air and beauty of the Adirondack mountains and the comfort of my home. I'm known for making a house a home and have put those talents into play in the properties I host. I lose myself with the latest autobiography on the patio of the suite and my husband's excellent cooking. At this point in our lives we are looking forward to traveling, with Montana being one of our favorite destinations. We have the best of both worlds in that our daughter lives in Brooklyn NY so we can get a good dose of the big city when we visit her. My husband Mike is a "foodie" so we like to look for the unique eatery of the area we are visiting. My motto in life is very simple...Find something to laugh at or someone to laugh with everyday...I hope your experience with our special spot is comfortable, cozy and leaves you wanting to return.
