About the host
Hosted by Trish

We grew up in Minnesota and now live in the Twin Cites. We have shared decades of "lake life" at our cabin with our now-college-aged kids. We are new to sharing our cabin with others and we hope you enjoy your time at the lake as much as we have.
Why they chose this property
We love nature. And we wanted to share that love with our kids. They are now college-age and have a deep love of adventure in the outdoors: hiking, backpacking, river rafting, fishing, Nordic skiing, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking. All loves that were nurtured on Sand Lake.
What makes this property unique
One of favorite things to do at Sand Lake is Happy Hour at the end of our dock. It's not so much about the beverages. It's more about the tasty and colorful snacks loaded onto the big tray while gathering together to talk and watch the sun slowly set across the lake. It's particularly beautiful when a few clouds add a bit of colorful drama to the end of the day.
