Nestled away in a beautiful aspen grove on the back side of Pike’s Peak, this log home is an ideal retreat for families and groups looking to get away. Multiple skylights flood the space with natural light, while enticing mountain and forest views surround the area. Enjoy the fresh air out on the furnished decks or cook s'mores out at the firepit. If things are a little chilly out, feel free to cuddle around the living room's wood-burning fireplace. The open kitchen lies nearby, complete with all the full-size appliances you need (and a bonus prep island that doubles as a breakfast bar) to cook delicious meals together. The upstairs loft features cozy spots and a balcony for long nights of conversation. The loft area has been recently updated with a new oversized sectional with built-in phone charging stations, a mounted big screen TV, and a mounted soundbar for streaming videos and music.
Two of the bedrooms in this home lie on the main floor, just down the hallway past the kitchen. Straight ahead, the first bedroom features a private balcony and special stained-glass window. To the left, the charming second bedroom features a private entrance to the main furnished deck on this floor, as well as log-cabin-style walls framing a unique octagonal window. The hallway bathroom (featuring a standalone shower, soaking tub, and beautiful tile work throughout) can serve the needs of these guests. When guests head upstairs to the top floor, they will find another great conversation area, can watch a movie, and can also recline, or enjoy a good night's sleep on the trundle bed. The loft has access to its own private balcony as well for stargazing. The third bedroom located next to the loft features a bunk bed and a private balcony with forest views. The nearby full bathroom features a shower/tub combination, a built-in bench, a skylight, and two tiled counter stations. When guests go down the stairs from the main floor (check the hidden tilework on the stairs!), they'll find bunks all set up for guests who want to relax in the game area, as well as a full bathroom with a standalone shower to serve guest needs. It also features a wet bar and full-size refrigerator, and a game table perfect for playing cards or board games.

We were very impressed with the rental. Quiet location, yet close drive to Divide and Woodland Park for dinner and exploring. We would definitely recommend it again for a future stay!

Amazing Cabin
Very beautiful place to have stayed and wonderful place to have shared memories with the family. Definitely recommend staying here if you love the mountain scenery. Get a chance to be above the clouds.
The house was very easy for our group of nine men to spread out and comfortably hold our retreat. It was clean and had everything we needed easily accessible. The location very private and surrounded by beautiful aspens.

Great location
Quiet place to stay. Beautiful location and close to everything!!
If you have issues with stairs do NOT rent this place!!
Entryway needs more lights when guests arrive at night.
This is not our first stay here. We have 7 ladies for a Women's Conference. This was a very snowy weekend which made it perfect! We loved the scenery and the accommodations we're warm and cozy. Definitely needed the 4x4 with this weather and even got stuck but not for long - the owner was so kind and helpful.

Fall Getaway
The rustic charm of this spacious house perched in the aspens was perfectly relaxing. However, we missed peak color by two weeks, the fall weather was spot-on. The home was well appointed, close to great hiking, convenient for coffee in Woodland Park, and our three couples had their own space and bathroom. The many decks afforded us many views of the property and allowed us to soak up the mid-October sunshine.

Great location
Easily accessible mountain home on a heavily wooded hillside. We enjoyed the decks in the evenings. There was adequate space for table games by all. Spacious. Number of bathrooms were adequate for our group of 11; however, hot water in morning for showers could have gone further. Wish there had been more cooking condiments. (Pepper). Pikes Peak entrance was about 20 minutes away. Royal Gorge was about 75 min away with a fantastically beautiful drive. The home served our needs for a place to stay.

Pikes Peak Retreat - Family Vacation
I rented this house as a Christmas 2023 present to my kids and grandkids. The memories will last far longer than a present. The "cabin" was beautiful and the trails right out the back door were great. We did see a few mule deer behind the house. We saw some elk right before we turned off highway onto road to house. The house was big enough for 7 adults and 8 kids (ages ranging 12 to 1). Every family had their own private spaces when needed. The cabin is close to all the adventures we wanted to take outside the house. We fished Rampart lake and 11 mile canyon. My family truly enjoyed this stay and we are already looking for our 2024 family vacation house.

Inspiring views!
I loved sitting on the deck and looking at the endless, beautiful view of the national forest in back (with no one looking back at me!). So many decks of great views together with the family or some alone time. Thanks for a great vacation.

Wonderful home in the mountains! Location is great for many activities! Close to Mueller park with lots of hiking trails. Close to Manitou Springs, Cave of the winds, Garden if the Gods! So many fun things to do! It is tucked into back side of Pikes Peak with National forests as a back yard! My grandchildren want to come back, they loved the trails!

Beautiful cabin in the woods!
This big, well kept cabin in the woods was exactly what I wanted for a getaway with my family. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but it definitely delivered as a 5 star lodge! I really enjoyed being immersed in the beautiful nature and getting outside with my 3 children. 100% recommend you book it - you will love it! My family didn’t want to leave!

Great getaway cabin!!
This place has it all. Spacious with all amenities and room for all and secluded, surrounded by aspen and fir trees, endless forest and pikes peak is the backyard, not a resort, just beautiful, clean cabin in mountains getaway. Enjoyed fires, romping in the snow, but also great loft area with huge sectional and flat screen as well. Secluded but not far from store and restaurants as well if needed - Awesome place and trip - coming back!
