Charming Wine Country Cottage Steps from Downtown - Permit #2012-27

Welcome to our charming two bedroom cottage in St. Helena, the heart of the Napa Valley. Our home is just steps from downtown restaurants, grocery store, shops, movie theatre, and wineries. Enjoy all the famed Napa Valley wine country has to offer. Choose to spend the day tasting at some of the world's premier wineries or visit the shops of St. Helena, Yountville, Calistoga and Napa.

Each bedroom has a queen bed and there is an additional pull out couch in the living room, which allows five persons to sleep in the cottage. There is one full bathroom, tub & shower. The property has a large back yard. We are in close proximity of world famous restaurants, including the Culinary Institute, and many wineries. It is a short walk to the town of St. Helena, with quaint little shops and a theater.

Please note: Our home is permitted by the City of St. Helena with an occupancy of no greater than 5 persons. The City and our neighbors strictly enforce this limit on us, so we have to enforce it on our guests. This policy will be enforced with exterior cameras that monitor the entrances and exits from the home only. Failure to adhere to this limit on occupancy will result in forfeiture of damage deposit and/or immediate eviction from property.

We kindly request that you confine your parking to our oversize driveway.

Couldn’t have been better!!!

This darling cottage was a perfect fit for us for our stay in St. Helena! This cottage comfortably fit four adults and is in a perfect location. We will definitely be staying here again for our future trips to Napa!

The perfect cottage in wine country

Clean, private and convenient! We loved the gardens on property, the wonderful back yard and hot tub perfect for a wine country respite. Everything was seemless. Exactly what we hoped for!

Location was great for walking to restaurants, shopping and wineries We were looking forward to spending time in the backyard with a fire in the evenings, there were no lights to turn on and it was very dark.There were issues with the water temperature in the house. Water was either scalding hot or freezing cold which made it very hard to take a shower

Great location and fantastic property, very comfortable!

We have a wonderful time and particularly enjoyed walking on Main Street ! The house was perfect and very comfortable. We were able to walk to the grocery store and prepare breakfast in the kitchen that had everything we needed! We will definitely return!

College drop off stay

My husband and I stayed here for a week while we got our daughter settled into her college. Very nice home with all the necessities. We enjoyed walking downtown from the home and eating at all the nice restaurants available. Very quiet location and the backyard was enjoyable with coffee and a book in the mornings.

Location is key

Loved the property! Just a block away from Main Street made it easy to get food and enjoy St. Helena. Great big backyard and lots of different spaces to hang out. Loved the dog friendly experience. I would definitely rebook again in the future.

Quaint and shapely

We had four of us who were interested in enjoying some wine and downtown St Helena. The house was built in 1920 but had been restored with some modern creature comforts. We enjoyed our time and would stay there again.

Happy Holiday in St. Helena

My husband and I spent a peaceful week at this charming property. The location can't be beat (two blocks from the heart of the town) and the house itself is roomy and well-stocked with kitchen gear and other essentials. The back yard is roomy and my dog loved watching the squirrels. Check-in was a breeze and there is plenty of room for off-street parking. Highly recommend.

St Helena downtown cottage

The Church St cottage was a simple, comfortable, and clean place for two couples to stay for 4 days in Napa Valley. It is very close to downtown shops and restaurants so you can eat and shop within walking distance. It is small and cozy with minimal amenities, not fancy. But it has a hot tub and enough off street parking for two cars.

Responsive Host & Accurate Listing!

This was a LOVELY place to stay in wine country! It was the perfect sized cottage for my husband and I and our dog. A charming St. Helena getaway that's in close walking distance to all the best spots of this cute little city! The host was very responsive to our pre-trip questions, and the listing was accurate - it was exactly as described and pictured. Although, being there in person was much better than we could have expected!

Right in town

The property was cozy and well suited to those who would enjoy St. Helena and vicinity. The yard had outdoor space and the rooms were quite comfortable. My personal preference would be to have some screens on the windows or on the front door so we could capture the magnificent California air. Otherwise this cottage was a perfect dream.

Charming cottage

Comfortable, clean accommodations and great walkable location, accurate listing, fully equipped kitchen (except salt?! - but I’m sure that was unintentional). Host was kindly flexible about checkin time but much slower to respond than average (>> 24 hrs) prior to stay, assuming quicker response during stay. Did not use backyard but enjoyed the rest of the house. Would stay again!

Great Location, Comfortable Property

This house is in a fantastic location, walking distance to all of downtown St. Helena. The house is situated on a quiet street, one street away from the main street through downtown St. Helena. The yard is large and we enjoyed sitting out in the backyard at breakfast and throughout the evening. The AC works well too, which was critical in 100+ degree heat. The house itself is comfortable and simple. It is well furnished and the kitchen is reasonably well stocked. We didn't cook any major meals here, which was fine given proximity to great restaurants. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful Surprise

Our stay (including our Golden Retriever's opinion) was great. The furnishings and floorplan layout were just perfect for us. The location to downtown was just steps away from groceries, restaurants and all sorts of shops. The backyard is a bonus feature but it rained for much of our stay so we couldn't use it. The only drawback was the road noise due to a Christmas-display-rerouting of main street traffic but really not that big a deal. The few odds and ends that required property manager attention were quickly resolved.

Wedding weekend!

We were in St Helena for a wedding my husband, my son, myself and a friend. We loved the location 1 block off the Main Street with all the shops and restaurants. The house had a nice backyard with seating to relax and enjoy the weather. Though the area could be tidied up a bit. We did not cook the kitchen was basic but served our needs for morning coffee. The house is cozy everything worked! Off street parking. Safeway is 1/2 block away we ended up shopping at the supermarket on main street nice provisions but $$$.

Although secluded from the main hustle and bustle of St. Helena, our cottage is located within a five minute walk to the town which gives us the best of both worlds.
