Gorgeous setting INSIDE Yosemite National Park by the Merced River! Expansive outdoor deck overlooking the water with a rustic mountain cabin feel. Large open living area with vaulted ceilings, a wood burning stove, full kitchen, Wifi, HDTV, gas bbq, washer/dryer, and much more. Walk down to the river and enjoy the jumping rock and swimming hole or just relax and enjoy nature. The Wawona Hotel and Pine Tree Market are also nearby for dinner and groceries!

Amazing place and terrific location

My family loved the sound of the running river, paddling in the water and hiking through the trees. House was exactly as it was described, perfect for a group of 5. Beautiful view from deck. Questions answered quickly. Definitely would recommend this place to stay. From Wisconsin and England

Wonderful home

This place was great! Its right on the river and was a great place to come back to after a long hike. It's also right by a little market that had all the things we needed when we ran out of something. I would stay here again.

Redwood cottages in Yosemite

The cabin was neat and cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent little time in the cabin because we preferred to be outdoors. It was wonderful going to sleep to the sound of the rushing river. Yosemite is an awesome park with amazing hikes and views.Kip was very responsive to questions we had.It takes about 40 minutes to get to the center of the park but it’s a much shorter time to Glacier point and Mariposa Grove.

Location, location, location!!!

We, being 2 families (7 people in total), had the most amazing stay at the property. The location is just divine with the river and brilliant rock jump just a stones throw away and it’s close to all the best sightseeing locations in Yosemite. Would definitely recommend!!!

Lovely space for a family

It was probably too much space for us but the location on the water and inside the park was too good to pass up. I loved the kitchen (we cooked a lot) and the back porch. It had everything we needed and more.

Just Perfect After a Day in Yosemite

We loved our stay here. It would be hard to top the splendor of Yosemite but coming “home” to this cabin was close. It was so peaceful and beautiful! The river rushing by the property, the brilliant stars at night, drinking our morning coffee on the deck with the river our view…wow! It doesn’t really get any better.

Perfect for a family getaway

This home has it all. The location inside the park makes for an easy drive to Yosemite Valley for hiking and to Badger Pass for fun in the snow. We all enjoyed the views from the home overlooking the river. It was chilly outside so we didn’t use the huge deck much but felt as if we were outside because the f the huge windows. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable

Beautiful location and property

The cabin is set in the woods overlooking a fork of the Merced River. The peace and tranquility are unequalled, and as the property has nothing between it and the river, there are few people and no vehicles to intrude. There is good walking locally directly and a short ride away, safe biking but swimming was out as the river was a torrent because of the excessive winter snow.

Beautiful home and location

My husband and I and two adult kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Home is lovely and clean, with beautiful view of wooded lot and river. Another huge benefit is that it's within Yosemite National Park boundaries so we didn't need a Park permit to go to Yosemite. It was wonderful to return here after a day of hiking. Kip was easy to work with and very responsive to our questions as we prepared for our trip. I also greatly appreciated that he provides everything (sheets, towels, paper towels, toilet paper). We've stayed at several upscale VRBO locations on the East Coast where none of this is provided. Loved our stay and hope to return!! Thank you so much, Kip!!

Relaxing get away

Pros: fully furnished kitchen, open concept, great heater, beautiful view of the Merced River, relaxing deck, quick response from host, beds are very comfortable. Cons: host thought we wouldn’t have to pay a park entry fee if we showed them our reservation but park rangers disagreed. My brother had to pay $35 for a 7 day pass yet they offered me a $20 annual pass, futon couch is pretty uncomfortable but adding bedroom pillows to support one’s lower back made it somewhat manageable, internet was a bit unreliable. the cabin has satellite TV but no cable TV. Local news would have come in handy when “prescribed” fires were started about 10 miles from the cabin and we began to see smoke. We were able to get the necessary information online. Glad our departure date was today as the air was very smoky and we wouldn’t have enjoyed Yosemite as much as we did!

Incredible place and location inside Yosemite. Communication from host was outstanding leading up to and throughout the stay. The house was immaculate, well stocked with all needs met, and a gorgeous view of the river. Would highly recommend.
