Enjoy views of Half Dome and El Capitan anytime! There are only a handful of rentals anywhere in Yosemite National Park with comparable views.

Since we are located within the park boundaries reservations are included with Spring and Summer 2024 bookings (meaning you won't have to secure a separate entry reservation from the National Park Service).

Yosemite Valley View is in an extremely unique location in the private enclave of Foresta with spectacular views of both Half Dome and El Capitan. We are located INSIDE THE PARK only 10 minutes from the valley floor. Our reviews consistently reflect how happy guests are with the house and the location.

Home is 2,000 square feet, fully appointed including granite countertops in the kitchen. Sleeps six in 3 bedrooms with queen-size beds plus a comfortable sofabed in the loft. Huge deck, perfect for wildlife viewing, stargazing, yoga, or just relaxing.

Fully equipped kitchen including supplies such as paper towels, napkins, coffee filters. Free high speed unlimited WiFi through Verizon.

Our location is very attractive for those looking to avoid crowds. We are in a private area with no close neighbors and open space on two sides. YOSEMITE VALLEY VIEW is one of the closest private rentals to Yosemite Village.

To ensure you have the experience you expect, be aware that many other homes listed under 'Yosemite National Park' can be up to a one hour drive outside the park and with traffic can take hours to get in. Other rentals advertised as 'Inside the Gates' are not actually inside the park.

Guests must abide by the house rules and digitally sign a rental agreement via Dropbox Sign. No pets. Smoking is never allowed anywhere on the property. Webcam adjacent to parking area for security/assessing weather conditions and cannot view interior spaces. Holiday rates apply.

Another pleasant stay

This was our second time staying at this beautiful house and again we left with happy memories. We had everything we needed/wanted plus more and the owner was very good at communicating with us. Thank you to Jim and the caretakers for accommodating us

Great family weekend!

The house was extremely well stocked and equipped, the kitchen had more things than we ever expected it to have - which was so convenient! Location was perfect, view amazing. Loved reading some of the books in the home and we played so many games and really loved the pool table too! We will come back!

Awesome place to stay

The house was very well appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were incredible and location was so convenient to the valley. I would stay again if I had the chance. I suggest coming in in the daylight hours as it is hard to see the landmarks that are in the directions when it is dark.

Great location and great stay

Overall pretty good stay, and easy communication with the owner. The place is not as beautiful/ new as appeared on the pictures though, so we feel it’s a bit overpriced. The location of the property is excellent!

Why they chose this property

This property has been in my family since the mid 1970s. After the A-Rock fire in 1990 destroyed the original house we were amazed to discover that we suddenly had views of both El Capitan and Half Dome.

When we rebuilt in 2006 great care was taken in the design and placement of the house to take maximum advantage of the view.

What makes this property unique

It is extremely rare to be able to stay in a private home within a national park with such spectacular views. There are only a handful of homes in the entire park with such a view.
