Commodore's Retreat unit 301 is a 1 bedroom condo with hall bunks that sleeps 6. King Master bedroom with bathroom accessible from bedroom or hallway, Bunks in the hallway. Full kitchen. Unit also has a washer and dryer. Complimentary wifi is also included with the condo.

Beach service included March-October, this includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up for you everyday. This amenity is complimentary, and no compensation will be offered if beach service is unavailable due to acts of God.

The complex has charcoal grills and a community pool on-site.

This unit rents weekly from Saturday-Saturday throughout Spring, Summer, and Fall. This condo does not accept Winter monthly rentals, nightly rentals only.

Our stay was impacted by several unresolved issues. Basic items like washcloths were not provided upon arrival, and the internet did not work properly throughout the stay, with some devices never connecting.The most significant issue was the air conditioning. We reported it not working, and after the second night of the air not working a portable unit was provided only for the bedroom, but it did not cool the bedroom and the unit remained uncomfortably warm, especially at night.We requested some sort of compensation for the inconvenience, but none was provided. We paid for a stay with working amenities as advertised, and that was not delivered.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I’m really sorry your stay didn’t go as smoothly as it should have. We wish you’d had a better first impression on arrival. As soon as we were made aware that washcloths were missing, our team brought additional linens to the property, and we’ll be double‑checking our inspections so that doesn’t get missed in the future. For the internet, we did confirm the service was working, but we understand that some devices had trouble connecting, which is obviously frustrating when you’re trying to relax and use your own tech. We’ve since had the system checked again and updated to help prevent those connection issues. Regarding the air conditioning, we did have maintenance out to inspect the system, and when it wasn’t cooling properly, we brought in a portable unit as a same‑day solution while we worked on the main system. We understand that it still didn’t cool the bedroom to your comfort level, especially at night, and we’re genuinely sorry for the discomfort that caused. Compensation was offered as these inconveniences are disruptive. That said, we completely understand why you were disappointed, and we’re using your experience as a reminder to respond even faster and communicate more clearly when issues pop up. We appreciate you staying with us and taking the time to let us know what went wrong so we can keep improving.

Great place, quiet area. Clean, well maintained and well stocked (towels and kitchen). Loved the bedroom and living room ceiling fans. The balcony furniture was excellent and appreciated since I spent most afternoons there. The beach service provided is a real plus.

The proximity to the beach is unmatched and was the primary driver of us booking this property. Check-in was was a breeze. The unit and the property as a whole could use some maintenance as there are visible signs of wear and tear.

Extended Weekend Getaway

The proximity to the beach was the highlight. The unit is old. I never really figured out the ice/water dispenser on the fridge. But when the ice maker did stop once, someone was there within hours to fix it. This seems minor, but they need to put a spatula in the kitchen. The worst part was, despite the fact that the unit is described as having two chairs and one umbrella, that apparently ends in October. When I called I was told I could buy a chair for 5 on Amazon, which was absolutely NOT the case. And no one will rent just one chair, so I ended up buying a beach chair at Publix for 25.

Very pleased with the accommodations. Had most everything we needed. Could use some smaller juice cups and smaller bowls😉. But overall the kitchen was stocked well. Loved the views from the balcony and the bed!

Overall, the property is nice and in a quiet area. It is a little far from town but drivable. Beach access is great. There are a few minor repairs that need to be completed, i.e. there are missing blind slats, some of the molding in the bathroom is falling apart. Overall, it is nice.

The unit was clean and sufficient for our needs. Beach service included is a bonus. Location is perfect. Bathroom needs a little TLC. Outside of building needs Maintenace. There is a big water leak in the parking deck. For the first two nights there were no outside lights. We had to use phone flashlight to get to the elevator and also to put the code in for the door. The TV is a Roku. We could hardly watch anything because most of the apps required a login. Old TV in bedroom did not have a remote, Management did respond, but they could only offer adding a Roku to that TV, which was really no big help.

Perfect gulf view vacation

The unit faces beautiful gulf. Enjoyed watching sunsets and sun rises. The unit came with beach chairs and umbrella was a bonus!! The unit was very clean and comfortable bed. Communication with the owner was very fast and accommodating. The first morning, the coffee maker wasn’t working, within a few hours they provided a brand new coffee maker. Thank you so much !!! The condo is located close to seaside and many other restaurants. We will definitely come back for another vacation!!

Wife's birthday beach trip

Fantastic beach, uncrowded Beach. The tiles are cracked and both of us got pieces stuck in our feet. Sink drains super slow in bathroom. Place smelled musty and wet. Ton of construction in area and they start at day break. Parking was a nightmare. Half the condos were empty and there was no parking. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of room for 2 adults. Nice tv show selection on Roku. Beautiful view of sunrise and sunset. The chairs and umbrellas save a small fortune.

Loved view of condo needs some work flooring in bathroom needs to be replaced. Put in vinyl flooring and find out what is making bathroom smell like wet clothes. Some tile in hallway and kitchen needs replacing. Refrigerator has slow leak at bottom right not sure what is from. Bed sleeps very well

Nice Family time!

We loved this unit and look forward to returning . The listing does state that some basic essentials are provided but you will want to bring some salt & pepper as well as coffee filters. A little dated in areas but overall good. Water pressure was great in the shower but not so much in the sinks. Be careful walking out on the balcony as the threshold has a high step over and can easily be missed. The view is amazing and that is what really drew me to this corner unit. The bedroom is however on the rear of the condo so no access to the balcony. You do get a beach view though from the room. We look forward to returning !

Needs TLC

Condo was very clean but in need of updates and repairs. Cracked floor tiles and some with holes. Vertical blinds were missing half the slats. Couch just sinks you right into some holes. Bathroom shower head is missing all its parts the cover etc The elevator and the boardwalk to the beach at the complex need major repairs. But the beach and view from balcony are fabulous. Beach chairs and umbrella that come with unit is a major plus! .

Anniversary Trip

We have been coming to Seagrove Beach with our family and renting large beach homes since 2002. This was our anniversary trip, so it was just the two of and our first condo rental. First let me give the good: 1. Incredible views from balcony. No way there is a better one. 2. Easy beach access with chairs and umbrella set up daily. 3. Real good shower. 4. Master bed is very comfortable. 5. Check in process very easy. Now the bad: 1. Condo needs serious updating. Some fresh paint. new flooring in bathroom, new balcony table. and new balcony floor covering would make this property really pop. 2. Parking is a challenge if you have a pickup truck. 3. Was not impressed with the TV set up at all. Difficult for a sports fan to watch NFL games. Overall, I gave it a 5, but that was almost totally about the outstanding views from the balcony. I'd love to own this condo to live in. I'd give it a total makeover and live happily ever after.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Commodore’s Retreat 301! The location is great, and the views are beautiful. The condo had everything we needed. The included beach chair setup service (two chairs, one umbrella) was awesome. The condo was clean, and the bed in the bedroom was comfy (I can't personally speak to the comfort of the bunk beds or the fold out bed, but our kids didn't complain!). At night, we preferred to close the vertical blinds running along the glass door/windows that face the view of the ocean so that people on the beach could not see into our condo. However, there were several slats missing, so we had to cover the gaps with an extra sheet (which was available in the condo). It would be nice to have the blinds replaced with something that will fully cover the windows in the future. We made it work, though! The top bunk of the bunk bed was not really usable for us, because we have kids, and there was no safety rail. The bottom bunk and fold out couch in the living room worked out great for our kids. The parking spots are not numbered, so you can park in any available space in the lot. Some spots are in the sun, and some are covered, which was a nice option to have in the Florida heat! We never had trouble finding a spot and we were usually able to get a covered spot. We really enjoyed our time at this condo. We never had any problems that required contacting the owner or property manager. We would definitely stay here again in the future, without hesitation!

Overall a very good value

This is a great value property with an unbeatable location. Although it is only one bedroom, we were able to sleep two adults and two children just fine. They one bathroom is a challenge but we knew that when we rented it. The property itself has very easy access to the beach and the chair service is great. The chairs are always set up each day and the umbrella has a tag with your room number on it so they are easy to find. There is an elevator up to the third-floor but be warned that it is older, hot, and slow. The pool area was clean and uncrowded. The only reason that we didn’t give this property five stars is that it does need a few simple repairs. The vertical blinds over the sliding glass doors to the balcony are damaged and about 1/3 of the blinds are missing. This limits privacy. It should be a simple thing to replace. Also, the fridge ice maker went out when we arrived. It wasn’t fixed during our stay but the property manager was fast to respond to our concerns. Again, a great value overall!
