Located in one of the quietest neighborhoods on the south side of Sedona. Just a 5 min drive to all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and grocery store in the Village of Oak Creek, along with hiking trails like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and more. This cozy cottage is a perfect retreat, complete with starlight, solitude, and direct trail access to the Coconino National Forest.

The expansive private back yard invites peaceful enjoyment of nature with a red rock backdrop. At night, enjoy star gazing while grilling up a delicious dinner or cozied up next to the firepit. During the day, follow your inner compass out onto the forestry land and explore to your heart’s content.

Inside the Cottage there is ample space for two. From the queen-sized master ensuite with an additional full bathroom adjacent, to the open plan kitchen and dining room that leads into a cozy living room with expansive glass double doors and floor to ceiling windows on both sides. In the morning, the front deck invites you to sit and catch the earliest rays of sun, and in the evening, enjoy the privacy of the back patio and watch the sunset glow on Lee Mountain just beyond the fence.

Don’t miss the opportunity to curl up on the sofa under the weighted blanket and watch TV or gaze out at the red rocks from our meditation chair or the outdoor covered dining table. Another charming aspect of the Cottage is the skylight over the bed, perfect for stargazing as you fall asleep.

The Cottage is close to the Village of Oak Creek (5 mins drive) and everything Sedona has to offer, or you can stay home and feel like you're in the middle of your own red rock paradise, which makes it a perfect escape.


Please be advised we have one exterior security camera at the front of the property and there is one locked room inside the house that is not included in the rental. It is not mentioned above.

WOW... what a beautiful view. This well-furnished home backs up to the open land of the red rocks. We enjoyed watching the Scrub-Jays, hummingbirds, quail, and rabbits. The backyard is truly an oasis in the desert. We would definitely stay here again.

This little gem of a house is everything I could have wished for during my Sedona experience! It’s a beautiful house - with all of the amenities I needed. I LOVED the decor (even the COASTERS!!) and the cliffs behind the house (Lee Mountain and Rabbit Ears) were inspiring and gorgeous at all different times throughout the day. I found the location to be perfect in terms of accessibility to all of the activities I’d planned for my visit, and appreciated being off the beaten track once I completed hikes and experiences. Host Chris was accommodating and friendly! If I return to Sedona, I’ll be coming here!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, cozy, and very well maintained, with simple yet elegant decor that made it feel comfortable and inviting. The information book was a thoughtful touch and had everything we needed. The host is easy to reach and quick to respond.The backyard was one of our favorite features, especially the birds/bird feeders, and we loved having easy access to a short hiking trail just out back. You cannot beat the view of Courthouse Butte from the back patio! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, conveniently south of the hustle and bustle of Sedona traffic, while still being an easy drive to all the sights, shops, and restaurants.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. This was a lovely, quiet, relaxing home that was perfect to come back to after hiking, biking and sightseeing. We watched a coyote exploring while eating breakfast and javalinas foraging in the evenings. We loved eating out in the backyard and taking in the view. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the living room was spacious. Check in and check out were very easy and the owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Book this house immediately! It is absolutely perfect, and the pictures do not do it justice. The moment you turn into the neighborhood, you are greeted by the majestic Lee Mountain right behind the property—it is much closer and grander than it appears in photos. Inside, the house was spotless and fully equipped. After long days of hiking, the crisp AC and comfortable bed were amazing, and the bedroom skylight made stargazing from bed an incredible bonus. The backyard was the absolute highlight of our stay. We spent our mornings drinking coffee while watching local birds and wildlife, and our nights relaxing on the cozy patio furniture under millions of stars.

The cottage felt more like a home. It’s located on a quiet road not far from the main drag. There is a stunning mountain view from the backyard with a walking trail. The house had all the basics and more (i.e.: walking poles, umbrella, etc.). Chris is an excellent host- responding quickly to any questions and providing us with numerous restaurant and hiking trail options. We were very happy to stay here and would love to come back.

Last year we liked this place so much, we signed up right then for this year. This is the best way to experience Sedona and vicinity - on your schedule, away from the crowds, noise, and traffic on the roads and on the trails. Direct access to trails right out the back gate. Other uncrowded trails nearby with few cars in the parking lot. Some trails not listed in any guide, you have to ask the locals.Step out into the back yard at night. Absolute silence and a mesmerizing starry, starry sky!Chris is a perfect host. Unobtrusive, but available if needed. Very willing to do whatever he can to make your stay better. We have stayed elsewhere. This place is the best!

We love this property and the neighbourhood. It has everything we love about Sedona....mountain views, peace and quiet and still close to the shops, cafes and restaurants in the Village of Oak Creek, without the hustle and bustle of Uptown and West Sedona. We hope you love it too!!!!

What makes this property unique

The location is amazing, so quiet (yet close to amenities) and right next to the national forest. It's so nice to be able to walk right out of the house and take a sunrise or sunset hike on a trail to the red rocks and probably not see anyone!!!
