Great place

We lucked out and had great weather during our stay. We have been to the Venture Out location before but this was our first time at this rental. The cottage is very clean and updated, it was nice to have the little porch and the sunbathing lounges and kayaks to use. If we had stayed longer we would have used the bikes. We were very happy with this rental. I loved the kitchen chandelier. Everything you need is there. The ONLY thing I would suggest is thicker bed pillows. Other than that, it was great.

Tortugas weekend

The place was beautifully decorated with plenty of supplies. The listing for the actual property was accurate. The host was very responsive. The only unpleasant surprise was when we checked into the gate at the community we were hit with a $105 registration fee for parking the second vehicle. I was aware that there was a $5 per day parking fee for the second vehicle to park in the “overflow” parking —as there was only one parking spot at the actual property—which I thought was a pretty ridiculous fee. But $105 registration fee plus $7.88 tax and $15 for parking, I shelled out $128. I Didn’t have a choice at that point as everything else for our trip was booked but crazy fees in my opinion. It may have shown in the listing somewhere but 2 of us read the listing and only saw the $5 per day 2nd car fee.

Thank you for your kind words Vickie! The email below, sent to you with all the info for the property (including access code to the house, Wifi, etc) had the remarks about “their” entrance fee. This is to cover their amenities, 24 hour security gate, 24 hour patrolling the streets, the heated pool, the Jacuzzi, the pickle ball, marina, boat ramp and everything else). I am sorry if you missed it, I understand when people go on vacation they get excited about certain things and is normal to miss others. Looking forward to hosting you again! EMAIL sent: “Hi again VICKIE, Your trip to the Florida Keys is just a couple days away, and I look forward to welcoming you to "Oceania!" on 19 Oct 2022! Please let me know if you have an estimated arrival time -- You are welome to checkin anytime after 4pm! Address is: XXXXXXXXXXXXX (Hidden by VRBO). Upon arrival to the Venture Out Resort main gate, advise the security guard about your reservation for lot #255 and pay the resort fee ($112.87) directly to them (cash or credit cards are accepted). You will receive a parking pass for the duration of your stay. From the guard gate, turn right and then left on the 1st road (turn left just prior to the overflow parking lot.) You'll find Oceania on lot 255, just about half way down on your right. After parking in the driveway, walk along the left side of the property to the side door. The electronic door lock code for your stay will be: (“I deleted these for privacy” ) Welcome! House rules & procedures, Wi-Fi info, checkout information, etc. have been provided on the laminated guest welcome sheet! Clean, convenient and carefree

Clean and fully stocked with every convenience for a carefree vacation. Truly a turn key destination for the whole family. Safe and quiet surroundings. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
