I grew up in Bay Shore, NY. I have resided in NYC, Chicago, Brooklyn and Jersey City. My husband David grew up in Texas, California, Guam, South Dakota and NYC (his father was a pilot for the US Air Force). My husband and I purchased this Farmhouse over 7 years ago as our vacation home (to get away from JC). We currently reside in Hebron, CT with our son Zori.

Why they chose this property

We enjoy visiting Berkshire East and we love old farmhouses. When we saw this house, we instantly fell in love with it. Not only was this the house we were looking for, the old barn and the 12 acres of land was an added bonus. 9 of the 12 acres are wooded. which provides privacy - when the sun sets, its a beautiful view. We are able to quickly drive to Berkshire East , Shelburne Falls, North Adams, Jacksonville, VT and Mt Snow. We love the get away location as much as the house.

What makes this property unique

The kitchen is what first captivated me. Then the wood burning stoves were my favorite during the winter months. That along with the beautiful snowfalls and the ability to run outside and watch our son sled down the small hill out back. In the fall, it's the trees turning colors, watching or neighbors horses roam around and sitting by the old barn with a glass of wine. We love every nook and cranny of this house and we hope you do too.
