Log cabin for rent in Charlemont, and only 3 miles to Berkshire East Ski Resort. 4 bedroom 2 bath cabin comfortably sleeps 12 people and has just been renovated with new bathrooms, flooring and kitchen. The open floor plan in the main living area boasts 19' ceilings, making it a great place to cook and relax, while hanging out with everyone in the house. The fully finished basement is a great place for the kids to play with some toys, multiple board games, or even some video games. If you would like to relax the upstairs loft is a great place to read a book, while looking out the wall of windows towards the mountains in the distance. The house faces west so each day enjoy magnificent sun sets that set over the mountains. If you enjoy the rustic lifestyle and enjoy the outdoors this is the place to be.

Had a wonderful stay at the cabin for my son's wedding. Great for all ages, my granddaughter loved all the toys in the basement. House had everything we needed the firewood outside was a plus!

Girls Lax getaway weekend

We had a great time at the SFA lodge! We are a group of moms and daughters in the area for a lax tournament. The house was perfect for our needs, plenty of space, lots of towels and great beds. We loved making snores in the fire pit! I would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Great Friendsgiving Spot!

We rented this home for our annual Friendsgiving get together as 3 best friends from college and our kiddos. Great location given that we were coming from MA,VT, and NY. More than enough indoor and outdoor space for 5 adults and 4 kiddos ranging in age from 2-10. Mike has a great attention to detail and we found the welcome packet incredibly helpful and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything we wanted

This property was exactly what we were looking for! The cabin is on a very private and quiet lot which made relaxing easy. The outdoor hot tub was the perfect after-dinner activity. The cabin is a stones throw from Bershire East Mountain which made travel to our activities stress-free. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Mike was a great host, he was responsive to messages and made my first trip using Vrbo seamless. I highly recommend staying here!

Great weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the SFA lodge. Had a girls weekend in Western Mass and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. The cabin itself was even better than the pictures. It was the perfect spot to relax, soak in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoors. Not too far from swimming spots along the Deerfield as well Shelburne Falls. We had dinner at the Blue Rock Restaurant and it was incredible! We would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Great place, no issues

We needed a place to relax, and this was it. We had 0 problems or concerns. Everything was well stocked and labeled and clean. It has a nice main area for lots of sitting and dining, a clean hot tub right off the sliders, and a nice wood stove to warm up and create some ambiance. Couches were super comfortable, and we easily found everything we needed in the kitchen. FYI there are two thermostats on the main level, one in the hallway and one in the bedroom - we failed to see the second the first night.

SFA Cabin

Property was located 15-30 min away from anything you need. Our family and friends stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate my 40th. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The host Michael was very responsive and informative on where to eat or other activities close by. Games for children and adults were all available and we had a great time playing them. Overall a great weekend stay for all!

Nice stay in Charlemont

We liked the lovely house. We missed some kitchen equipement, one airco fell out of the window and the pump of the hot tub makes a lot of noise, so that sleeping in the bedroom in the basement wasn't possible (for us). Because we had bad weather during our stay we didn't enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Mountain top

Beautiful cabin! All 12 of us had a comfortable bed and none of us felt crowded in the home. The kitchen was stocked with all the needed utensils and pans to make a big dinner for us. The basement was so fun! Our little 3 year old nephew loved playing with all the toys! The teenage boys enjoyed playing video games aa well in the basement. For the moms, we enjoyed the double washers and dryers! We did check out some local shops. Where Did You Get That was our favorite novelty shop! Amy's Cottage was fun for tshirt and sweatshirts. We did find the Appalachian Trail and hiked a couple miles along a beautiful creek. Thank you for letting our large family to explore and enjoy your little mountain gem!
